i just decided to start this in order to see how many reenactors play this mod, and to stop me and Viccards constant reenactment discussions . they should also give info on what they portray. hopefully this could lead to us all meeting each other etc at events such as waterloo 2015.

i have been reenacting since 2007, i am part of the following groups:
73rd regiment of foot 1808-1814
NSW loyalist militia corps 1799-1808
102nd/NSW corps Light Company 1793-1810
21eme regiment de lingue 1812-1815
gold police 1850-60
NSW corps of marines 1788-1793

and im only 16, 17 soon and i am AUSTRALIAN not AUSTRIAN

Im Casper, 15, and I've been re-enacting for 1,5 in the pupilles de la garde.

They were pre-1810 a single unit of Orphans and soldiers children. when the dutch army was absorbed into the French, they became the pupilles and because of their epic drilling, Napoleon took them into the Guard(Take that Hitlerjugend! We are actually sometimes compared to the HJ, which is really, really irritating.  )
They were aged between 12 and 18, and after 1810 they consisted of 8 battalions of 4 companies each. Their uniforms were very different, some wearing Dutch-style white, other Green with yellow or white), but after 1813, when three regiments of tirailleurs were recruited from their ranks(only those older then 19 could apply) the four reformed battalions got the same, green spencer uniform I carry(or gonna carry, I don't have one of my own YET.

They defended France in 1814 and were finally disbanded after Napoleon abdicated.

They were not however, all Dutch. There were Germans, French, Belgians, and even Italians and spaniards according to some people, all aged somewere between 12-20.

do u shoot yet?how many member do u have?

Nope, no shooting. Sadly, Dutch law is not only strict but also confusing. I see people of 16 carrying real weapons and even firing them sometimes, while we had people of 17 which couldn't even carry a dummy.

We are now...let me think...8 people, including the 10-year old son of the Sgt. He's so cute
We are a part of the 3eme grenadiers, Dutch grenadiers in service of the emperor.
The official group is the 3eme, but when people ask in what regiment I'm in, I most of the time say Pupilles. Ce un mátter of Pride!

we have a 3eme unit over here, number around 30 people. u cant shoot!! i though australian laws were harsh. how old do u have to be to shoot, over here u can get a permit at age 12 and liscence when 18. have u got a website?

well, I'm 16 years old and from Germany. I'm reenacting the 2nd Light Battalion of the King's German Legion.
I think everybody knows the KGL - was founded 1803 after Hannover was conquered by french troops........... (you all know the history  )
One of the best known and most glorious Battalions was the 2nd Light. They fought in Light Infantry formations and were equipted with Baker Rifles (mostly) and green uniforms (but a little bit other then the 95th). It was the unit wich defended La Haye Saint so brave. The men of the 2nd LB retreated cause they had no ammunition no more.
If somebody wants to know more bout the unit then just ask me...but now I'm too lazy to write a lot.

To be honest, I have no idea how the rules are exactly. The only thing people tell us: WAIT UNTIL YOU ARE 18!

www.le3eme.com  In dutch, but still EPIC
And don't beleave that pic with 25 people on it; It's been photoshopped  We have about 12/15 grenadiers, with a grand total of 43 people, including women.

Oh btw, do you have by any change Pics of this 3eme? Cos I think what you mean, is the 3eme of the Ligne, while we are of the guard

Edit: GRAMMAR MISTAKES! GRAMMER MISTAKES EVERYWHEEEERE!
