The new system is much better. Ignore Zaffman. It should absolutely be limited to 10 though. This wouldnt change any team roster except 2 teams that were both largely made as a parody of the system.

I'm not complaining about imbalance, just pointing out your post implied that picking up all tier 5's was previously a better idea than it is now, when it is in fact the opposite.

That's what my first post said.... That there was almost zero reason to NOT pick up all high tier players without the rule change
