June 5th Announcement

In case anyone did not see | Signups end, Tuesday June 16th @ 11:59pm

The league table will be made as soon as possible, probably at midnight or during the day of June 17th

Which means your very first Week 1 match will be expected to be played June 17th-23rd. I highly encourage all teams to contact their opponent team captain as soon as possible on Wednesday night or Thursday night. DO NOT wait until the night before you want to scrim to contact the other team captain, this is almost always going to be too soon of notice.

All captains can contact each other via resources provided on the Team Rosters page and the NABB Discord.

If you are having trouble contacting your opponent contact an admin IMMEDIATELY, all of our contact information can be found >> Here

Last, but not least thank you for all the kind wishes so far

June 14th Announcement

Hello! I hope you all are having a fantastic day. With the tournament starting in the next several days this announcement is to make sure that everyone in the community understands essential information going forward and this is all laid out below.

Do not forget to read the >> full ruleset

Map Re-roll Tokens

This is a reminder to everyone to remember that you have access to this important tool. The rerolls are vital to ensuring that the RNG component we are stuck with right now is at least curbed to some extent. Use them wisely!

1 reroll per team, per week. (rerolls do not carry over to the next week/match)

Concerning class limitations & faction bans

We have decided as an admin team that we don't believe it is necessarily the right time in this early stage of game development to implement faction bans or class limitations. We believe that since this is one of the first tournaments in the game to really have a chance of seeing a high competitive play we want teams to be able to fully express creativity and tactics with their factions and classes. We are fully aware that certain playstyles are very strong, but without further evidence in a true competitive environment we are not ready to take the step of banning specific game aspects at this point in time.

Rosters Caps

This is to update everyone that we have decided to have the cap remain at 10, but if team captains feel they need more players they can request this from the admin team. Feel free to contact me about this particularly if you think you have low activity players, we are understanding of these types of situations.

A Message to Team Captains

If you are a team captain or co-captain, it is highly encouraged that you add all other team captains onto your steam friends list ASAP so that you can easily contact them. If you have any scheduling conflicts contact an admin immediately, do not wait several days.

It is your responsibility to make sure you have the correct contact info on your team signup page. Make sure you also have co-captain information.

When scheduling, please offer at least 2 days to the other team on which you can play your match. For example: "Our team can play on Saturday at 8pm EST or Monday at 9pm EST". I expect you guys to be able to resolve scheduling fairly seamlessly, but again if you have difficulties contact us on discord or steam or here on the forums.

Please remind your team that rule violations (such as glitching onto the hut or other locations not intended within the game) will result in severe punishment.

Team requiring extra players

Numinous Beauty is seeking more players, if anyone reading this can send reliable players their way, please do so to help that team.

Last, but not least please join the NABB discord to contact admins and other players easily.

June 22nd Announcement

1. The admin team has decided to make sure everyone understands that the longbow glitch to use on horseback is not allowed.

No equipment glitching of this nature is permitted.

2. Should a player crash in the middle of a set the team may play with the random player as long as he is not in the tournament, otherwise he will be asked to leave. If he does not leave he will be punished with the same punishments that applies to cheaters.

Reminders!

Remember to take screenshots of at the end of your sets so that we can verify the score, stats and all other things pertaining to keeping your record accurate in the league table.

Any forfeits of your match will most likely end as a 6-0, if you need extra time just message an admin and we will talk about it with you.

There are still extra players in the free agents section, if you need extra people they are looking for teams

June 28th Announcement

1. We recently had teams play their match way past the deadline (ST6 vs NL3), these results WILL NOT count in the tournament. It is too late to change this as the forfeiture results were already applied on Wednesday. At the end of the day I do respect that you guys played it out anyways, good luck to both teams in the tournament.

2. Weeks run from Wednesday at 12am to Tuesday at 11:59pm. If you play past the deadline you will need to ask for an extension.

3. It was recently seen that someone who is on NL1 played for NL2, I understand that this may be allowed in other tournaments, but for this tournament each team is treated as an individual entity. This being the case, you cannot play on another team unless you have transferred teams with admin approval. This first instance will just be an overall reminder to all teams that this is not allowed, but if any other instances of this happen again we will have to punish the players involved to keep integrity of all rosters.

4. If you are not yet aware we are using bucholz system, you can see it here https://challonge.com/kh7wb8sd

5. Just a general reminder that we are here for fun and want to try and keep things fair for everyone, I know we will have some great matches and fun this week. I look forward to seeing what happens!

July 16th Announcement

After discussions with captains and the community, we have decided to go ahead with adding a Week 5 to the regular season. The biggest reason for this is that after Week 4 there will be approximately 7 teams all tied 2-2. The only reasonable way to sort them is to have them face off.

Just a reminder

Week 4 deadline is: July 21st Tuesday 11:59pm

Week 5 deadline will be: July 28th Tuesday 11:59pm

Please schedule your matches within the deadline, only using Wednesday as a last resort.

Week 4 matchups are already on https://challonge.com/kh7wb8sd

The fixtures thread will be posted later today.

July 25th Announcement

Week 5 which will have a deadline of Monday, August 3rd @ 11:59pm. Schedule your week 5 match behind this deadline, extensions will most likely not be granted. After Week 5 is complete the next week will be Quarter-Finals.

Week 5 matchups

Due to RM and NuB withdrawing from the tournament this week because of "high ping" and "inactivity" respectively. The admin team decided to try and balance matches by records and strength of schedule.

So for the sake of getting accurate seeding and fairness to teams, for week 5 Unknown will be #1 seed regardless and they will be put against RM/bye.

The following matches will take place between 3-1 teams.

DoF vs RMC
KO1 vs PSFC

DoF, PSFC, RMC and KO1 have locked in their playoff spots.

Ranking and pairing off teams with 2-2 records are as follows.

RCC beat KoA directly, KoA beat AWH directly, AWH beat PSFC 6-1 directly, while HB lost to PSFC 1-6, ranking HB below AWH

KO1 directly beat CL and KO2, 6-1 and 6-0 respectively. This round differential of 1 is the only way to rank KO2 and CL.

RCC
KoA
AWH
HB
CL
KO2

The matchups will then be set accordingly.

RCC vs KO2
KoA vs CL
AWH vs HB

The next matches will be set as follows to avoid repeats and the like

GK vs ST6
NL1 vs NL3
NL2 vs NuB
