I'm totally guessing, but I think there's something up with the server. It's done something similar in the past (But it showed up on the list, people couldn't connect though). It should only require a server restart by Death to fix.
I know that when it first happened and I started up the game to connect and it wasn't on the list, other people were still connected to the server when/while it happened.
It will probably be back up in a few hours.

sad face...i recently moved and have very limited sources for internet...basically charter and I haven't been able to convince my fiance to get the service after all her friends have said they suck ass and their internet isn't what they advertise.
long story short, we have an unsecured wireless connection we've been using since beginning of may, but once in a while it will stop broadcasting for a day or week and then come back online (when it's online I can get 15mb/s down, and about 3mb/s uploads...so very fast). I decided to setup a computer at work to play warband on since I can't get my fix routinely at home. Put in an older (but still beefy) graphics card, canabalized another PC's memory to boost to 4gb, and was even able to pirate a headset from the middle school (I work at a school district). So I get all this set up today and go to connect, and the NA server is down. Talk about a buzzkill
Hopefully it will be back up by tomorrow!
