I understood X just fine, I can hear and see at the same time pretty well too. Good feedback though

Gelden 说:Regardless of throwing away the idea of main/back-up caster, it will always appear that way because one role (in the case or warband casting, the "play-by-play'er") will naturally (and should) have more to say.
I also think with the amount of downtime with matches, both commentators can work off of each other and fulfil the "colour" role as you described. That is to say, the play-by-play'er, assuming he is knowledgeable about the scene shouldn't be limited in his role.
shrug.. do what you want, streams are pretty good so far.
I just finished watching the stream (congrats boys, good work), but I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the commentary. X managed to provide a level of necessary enthusiasm and excitement, and Blak's valuable insight fit really well with X's style of commentary. It's only natural for one commentator to assume a certain role, and the other commentator to assume a different one. Obviously you guys do this live, so whatever happens isn't some planned motion to become "main-caster" or whatever it's being called. I say keep up with what you're doing, it's only going to get better from here on out.Mr.X 说:Wow yay feedbacks!
Seriously all feedback is helpful. Detailed stuff like Zero's is super helpful. Normally I wouldn't want to respond with any disclaimers or defensive ****, but I would like to quickly address (and kinda shut down) the idea of a "main" and "backup" caster. And this comes from me, not WarbandNA or anyone else.
One of the things blak and I talked about before the match was the seperation of play-by-play and "color" (which I take to be just everything else), and I told him that one of my main personal goals for these streams is to try and hype up the game and make the combat exciting to watch. I'd been working on that with play-by-play which led to the decision that I would take on the play-by-play. When we were discussing the nature of it more it came up that play-by-play tended to be the bulk of the commentating on the closed maps, which I do think got into my head a little and resulted in an experience like Zero described. I just wanted it to be clear that I was not being the "main caster", I was just trying to fill my new and exciting role, and I actually personally tend to agree with Zero and think I was a tad over-eager about doing that earlier on in the stream. The point is that there wasn't and, in my opinion, shouldn't be, a main caster, but that the different roles we've taken on at WarbandNA seem to require different amounts of each at different times.
