I offer my services to the modding community.

I have experience with module_troops, and have worked with _party_templates, _items, _dialogs and _factions for my personal mini-mods.


I am offering my help because
1: I can't stick with a personal project for too long, although my mini-mods had low goals anyway.
2: It seems the modding community is in need of fresh moders.
3: I want to develop my skills.

I am willing to learn to work with other files, as long as you have the time to teach me properly.

For a start, a small project would be probably better.


If this isn't the right forum, please move this to where it's due.

Do you know how to port stuff to .903?  Because there are several mods over on MBX that I know of, and probably a couple over here, that would welcome anybody willing to help with that.  Holy War and Mesoamerica immediately come to mind, although you would have to check with Raz and Guspav to see what they actually need (and I can't officially speak for either of them).  There are most certainly others.

Still might want to check with HW or Mesoamerica, and/or post a similar notice over on the MBX forum.  Several big projects over there that could likely use coders, although most of them check this board as well.

If I was a mod lead, I certainly wouldn't turn down help ... but I just do item stats (and occasional graphics) for other people's mods.  I therefore am on the dev team of a dozen different mods, but can't officially speak for any of them.

I don't know if you can help me on this, but i have a large problem with my module_troops. I keep recieving an error in the proccess_troops file but it won't tell me what the problem is. Would you mind taking a look at it and seeing what the problem is? I know that might sound pretty demeaning, but I really cannot continue work on my mod if this issue isn't fixed. I searched through the file  endlessly but cannot find the error. Maybe a more experienced python-er like you could help me.
