SP Other My Runescape Mod

A while back, I posted an idea about a Runescape mod in the "I want this mod" thread. I dont think it really caught on, but I still went through with making it myself. I have changed the names of the kingdoms and troops, I just need some scenes to go along with the places and I would like to add the have your own kingdom option there. Can anyone help me?

did you disable all attack modes?  Like for bastard swords theres only upward swing, so you walk around like a ****** swinging overhead constantly?  Just like runescape!  It would be a pretty nice mod, runescape with horses!

I admit, I would like this mod... I was always a fan of runescape... But how would you animate an abbysal whip? Unless it was like standard F2P where the Scimitar was the dominate weapon ^_^

I'd suggest starting somewhere smaller, get the hang of everything first, and not announce your project for the world to see, and come out guns-a-blazing later on with something to show.

I wish I knew how to help and I don't know of anyone I could get to help you either but what Voutare said is what most people do, they generally don't talk about it unless they have something to preview... I guess I'd recommend asking some people who make or help make some of your favorite mods for assistance or where-to assistance.

Its perfectly ok for you to ask that, and here is my reasoning. If my internet is down and I want to still play something like Runescape, then I can play my mod. It may not be the same thing, but it still has the feel and same sense of Runescape.

Generaly turing a MMORPG into a singleplayer Sandbox games isen't a great idea.

just a change of scenery.  Instead of swadian armies and vaegirs and what not, there'd be the Kingdom of Varrok, Kingdom of Falador, and all the other plaaces, a new map.  New npc soldiers.

i dont think runescape will work on m&b, not just because i dont like it, its just that RS is a rpg and m&b is basically a hack and slash, with armies and ruling your own kingdom thing. and in runescape you dont rule your own kingdom and you certainly don't have a army to control. making a mod on RS won't tie in with the real RS. and if you dont want it to be the same as RS try the other fantasy mods.

Kingdom of Seers! (aka Camelot) But I'm totally up for supporting this mod... and what does 2012 have to do with anything Ryan? A guy wanted to take me to that movie on a date, never went though, so I don't see a point. *giggles*

But last I recalled, Mount&Blade IS an RPG is it not? The hardest concept of turning RS into MB is that RS is a MMORPG, so you can either base it on players being lords or soldiers, or the lore of the original game not including any players.

I second That. If not for the fact that i hear of runescape way to much. you can't make an mmo into mount and blade. they're two way different ideas.No craft skills. No single combat, no grinding to train. If your adamant though g'luck to you and i hope you find some help.
