My men desert my settlements

I don't know if it is in the gameplay, but my men disappear from the settlement, one after the other, slowly but surely. And of course, only the high level men.
Annoying, isn't it?

just to verify. What is the max capacity of this settlement ? and how many troops are there inside ? What is the level of loyalty (manage this town/castle) ?

If you're part of a faction, other faction lords will take your troops from castle and town garrisons. Is that maybe what happened? (they'll leave troops sometimes too)

It's this. If you have a food shortage in the settlement then your garrison will leave.

They don't want to starve, you know, so they go on a quest for food and leave you.

Same issue again.
Due to prosperity and food... Non cities/castle can handle garnisons.

A day or another every units you put in are going to die. You can only count on militia to keep your fiefs.

This sucks a lot and have to be corrected as soon as possible.

I'm not because this mod reduce loyalty I don't know why...
And I don't want to cheat reducing the prosperity level in the console.

This has to be fixed by devs.

Idk about the loyalty thing, I balance all that kind of stuff out with my kingdom policies.
I agree with you though that it needs to be addressed but there are several community fixes out there like "Bannerlord Tweaks" that fix some major issues with the game.
It's good to run no mods though so these issues can be pointed out and addressed as they arise.

I have been losing garrison troops to retirement at - 4 per day PER DAY in every single one of my settlements so my garrisons have no troops within a couple of weeks it's silly as far as I'm aware there is nothing to stop this my food is fine and so is my prosperity and morale in my settlements
