My impression of the game after 50 hours of play time.

9) Army cohesion is too high.
Another issue that relates to snowballing and lords being hard to come across. AI armies almost never disband, nor seem to require food, meaning that campaigns will go on forever.

This one, I think I understand what you're going for, but it's wrong. AI armies need food! I was facing an army of 400 with my 100ish troop, so I was faster than them on the map. Every time I went near, it aggroed me and followed for a while, then moved back. I figured I'd try to kite them and after a while, they ran out of food/morale and it QUICKLY ticked down until it became a very manageable 100ish troops to fight. At that point, the AI started to fear me, but I was fast enough to catch up before they reached the town.

What I did notice, however, is that if armies are allowed to reach a town, they will spontaneously spawn new, sometimes upgraded, units. Way more than the 3 we get if we're lucky at low levels. And there's the whole problem about the snowballing: They never run out of troops! Even when they are imprisoned, then get released (again, with magic), they suddenly get 40 to 100 troops, all healed and ready to fight. I've beaten lords and taken them prisoners, and they managed to get out, get an army, and attack me again before I had the time to fully heal.

Some of the defenses does not work in siges, the stones falling in the room behind the gate don't do any damage. I was looking up the stones while they kept dropping them on me and they did no damage to me.

That's weird, i've been using them and they usually OS one soldier.

I think AI archers on the walls should be a better tier by standard or get improved accuracy and arrow speed to make the sige a challange.
It's too easy to run up to the walls and raise ladders alone.
Very true.
