My ideas that might make this game more bigger.

Dear Mount&Blade Staff, community, and Administrators

I have been playing your game since version .801 and got to say that you have done a good job for a indie developer, this type of game is almost getting famed from some websites, about the same level like Wurm Online. I like how well you continue making new content, but for me and some other people that also think the same way I do is thinking that we need more content to satisfy our thirst. I think it's time that we should make the game more exciting, more different challenges and all that stuff that we wanted in this game.

  • More Siege Weapons:
We saw the siege towers, and the ladders... but I saw a trebuchet or Catapult not firing and hitting the enemies troops... It be nice if we also allow to use SCORPION's during the battlefield and watch a line of enemies get penetrated by a big fat heavy bolt.
  • Face Animations
I like the new animations that you added but where the facial expressions? I hearing yells when nobody is moving their mouths? I have not seen anyone happy and pissed off as well.
  • A nice introduction movie with voice-over dialogue of what happen
Due to a lack of a good introduction movie, most people don't really know what's really going on (if they really read the introduction screens and all). It be nice to also see the introduction movies changes when you created a new character and each background check shows a movie of your past.
  • More music
We do need more music into this game, to get the feel of the world and all... I recommend adding songs that sound like it's a medieval world, listening to the troubadour's singing and the Pagan's chanting a song during the rituals. The music you have added sounds great however it sounds more like something for renaissance... it's does not sound good when your in a battle, if you want to know what music that I am expecting, listen to the Lord of the Rings soundtrack, this is the type of music that I am looking forward too, but want it to be in a medieval aspect.
  • Different Guilds
The Guild Master is good but really... after I do the troublesome bandits, looters, kidnapped girl, and peace between two nations waring each other. After all that, I've been doing boring escort missions that give me little reknown and cash, and up my reputations by 1 point. I want a split off of the Guild, I recommend adding the Trade Guild to deal with economic missions, the Fighter's Guild to assassination and get rid of problems, and other guilds as well that does their own shorts of missions.
  • Sea Battles
I saw some mods and all that does this short of thing, but I want this to be official. I want to steer the ship and watch my archers pummit the enemies ships with my onboard onager and arrows. I want to see ships sink and watch them drown to their own stupidity of assaulting my ship and my comrades.
  • Historical Events
It's time that you did what Total War did to their games, they added historical events such as the discovery of the new world, and the discovery of gunpowder... I want something like that in this game, where you gain new equipment, prepare for a civil war that recently happen to a country and new nations to be born. This will add in a fun factor in this game, if you make it random to a certain even of a civil war.
  • Economic areas
Like all the RTS games that you play, where you need a certain amount of wood, iron, and the cash to build this building and that... I will like to have this on this game as well, but different so it be on the RPG genre. I want to have multiple places such as lumberyards, iron mines, Farms, Vineyards, and other economic places. Whoever takes a hold of these places have a more income on that good, and causes prices to lower whoever controls that good, making it very easy for traders to buy low and sell high to other's that don't got the same or don't got enough. It also be nice to battle in the forest, in the mines, or in the middle of a quarry.

I am currently thinking of more ideas that can help improve this game to meet others people taste, I also wish that this game improve a bit on the graphics if you can (expecting unreal 3 engine being used for mount and blade 2 and the next several years).
 
Most of it has been modded and suggested. But I will complement your detail and not-so-noobish post.

I don't think there were any guilds specialized in killing people. Yes, some guild leaders did try to knock off competitor guilds, but rarely did it involve killing the leader.

Siege engines? No, armies are not big enough to support this (IE, one bolt would end an 1/8 of the battle) But maybe if the developers wanted to make sieges fun they would add a SECOND LADDER to all siege scenes... -_-

Face Animations. Maybe M&B 2, but the models can't really support that from what I have seen

Yes, music is much needed, I feel like I am playing single player guild wars currently

Sea battles... just make two or three ship types, and about 12 different sea scenes with them next to eachother and in the end they are stiff models that work like castle sieges

No.. no civil wars, no guns, new land masses, maybe, but only discovered ones... Lord knows so many people love the idea of having to do quests for every village you own save for your capital 24/7 (sometimes even more) just to keep them content in the NE mod...

Also, resources don't work like that kid. You want a quarry? You can easily dig your own, you only take enemies during war, more to stop them from getting resources more then to give yourself them. Vineyards you plant, theres tree's all around you, the only one I can see remotely being capturable is iron, but in the end I would rather see trading being all you need for this rather then the retarded RTS ideals of Capture the flag meets territories.
 
Thanks for the nice comments and all, I just thought of some ideas that help make this game improve a bit of my suggestions.

Yeah, I can't think of a good title for my responses on the whole game then just one source like combat or economics. So I made just a simple thread title for it really.

I don't think there were any guilds specialized in killing people. Yes, some guild leaders did try to knock off competitor guilds, but rarely did it involve killing the leader.

I think there will be other guilds then that does different quests, The guild leader correctly does a mix of fighting and economics like that, but after you do all that, you get the repetitive escorts, I want something more that deals with getting rid of criminal folks that don't damage my reputation like the lord's and king quests does. So I wish that there was several Guilds that does different things and all that can help out the city.

Ok just so we get something straight

There's nothing in the way of sea on the map apart from the nordic coastline, so unless you want your epic sea battles to take place on rivers I don't think that's going to happen,

Secondly the Caladria is FICTIONAL so you can't have historical events, sure you could make some up, but they won't work seeing as the player pretty much decides what happens in Caladria.

I Like the guild Idea however.

Also I'm not bashing you or calling you a noob, those ideas will work in a mod I'm just pointing out why the won't work in Caladria.​

1. There are mods with sea battles, so its doable

2. we can make up mock battles for flavor, such as a big battle between a mix of Vaegirs and Swadians VSing the Rhodoks to reenact the rise of the peasentry rebellion and the birth of the rhodoks
 
The thing with the guilds is that the game is meant to historically make sense. A Trade Guild is unnecessary since historically, a guild was an organization of traders that basically worked together and built up a monopoly of trade in a certain area. That's all they were, there were no guilds for different professions; Fighters' Guild etc. are inventions of fantasy RPG's, and since M&B seems to try very hard not to be a fantasy RPG, I doubt it would happen.
