"Best" can be only one mod...
another thing...."Napoleons mod" isn't two of better mods....
by best i meant my favourite mods. Not crappy ones with just a new map and nothing else.

Don't complain.  If he shortened the list by a quarter, I wouldn't be on it.

Have to ask, though, Face Facer... how do you find the time to try every single mod that gets released?

That looks like 3/4 if not more of the major mods out there (gameplay changing mods)
it just so happens that these 3/4's of major mods are all my favourites but especially Chronicles of Talera

are you making a larger version of Gangs of Glasgow. It is fun but i like to explore vast landscapes

I am working on a bigger version, but it's only expanded in content.  The battlfields and explorable scenes are still mostly smaller than in Native, with a couple of exceptions.

I wish there were more mods that stiched huge scenes together into a kind of explorable non-world-map expanse, with dungeons, towns, villages, etc. that you could stumble across while just riding about in the fog.  It's easy enough to make huge scenes like that - but hard to make anything interesting or new happen on them, without some serious coding and triggering and jiggery-riggering.

A Medieval Adventure tried to do it, and it was fun.  Well worth checking out (especially for modders who want to try something similar).

i think that sort of thing would be a good lord of the rings mod.
