I like mount & blade plenty much, so i have began to write this fiction story based on the game.

Part 1 of "Sword Story"
the grass was tall and green outside the town of Zendar in the land of caldera. Me and my merchant friend Marnid were on our way to Rivacheg to bust our buddy Borcha from jail. But, soon after exiting Zendar, we heard horses galloping from behind the hill.
"river pirates! they will kill us all!" Marnid said with a fear in his voice.
"don't be a noob, Marnid, river pirates don't ride horses. it must be man-hunters, and they our on our side." I reassured him. We traveled on towards Rivacheg and we heard the horses getting closer. we could both see them, they were headed towards us. they were man hunters. one single man hunter rode out ahead of them. He came up to us and stopped.
"hand your selves over to us, pirate scum, or we will take you by force." he said to us. i tried to explain to him that we were not river pirates.
"we are not-" he had cut me off in mid sentence.
"then we will have to bash your brains and sell you to the slave traders"
he began to ride back to his party of man hunters and i could smell a foul stench. I looked towards Marnid, and i saw his face, pale white as if he had just seen a ghost. I then realized he had soiled himself.
"get hold of yourself, man! we must run!" i told him. just as i finished my sentence I heard the loud cry of the man hunters. they had began there decent down the hill.
"run back to Zendar!" I yelled to Marnid. we both ran towards Zendar. I knew  that I would not make it, but i wasn't sure about Marnid, because he ran like a mule that wasn't placed directly on a land plot building. i ran as fast as I could, but i felt it was no use. So what I did next was stupid.
"Run faster, Marnid! I'll meet you there!" i yelled out. I pulled out my hunters crossbow, turned around, and took aim at one of the man hunters. I let my bolt fly and it planted itself into his chest. he fell off his horse onto the ground. only five more to go, i said to myself. but after killing a second one they were upon me, and they beat me with their clubs till i could not see anything more.

I found myself half awake in a prison and I could see a blurry figure of a man. he was speaking to me.
"wake up, Alex. you must wake up." I felt cold stone beneath me and my vision cleared. the man I saw was Borcha.
"what do you want me to wake up for?" i said to him.
"it is time for torture, if you don't wake up they will start with me first."
i looked at him, and made a stupid face. i could not believe that he would do that to me.
"Well, Borcha, it was nice seeing you again, but i think someone is here to get you now" i could see the prison guard in the cell door behind Borcha. Borcha had suddenly been struck with fear, I could see it in his face. i watched as the guard dragged him down the passage towards the torture chamber. I felt some pity for him, because he was an old friend. But i suppose it was the law, because they had not yet rebuilt the gallows since Marnid and I burnt them down last time we freed Borcha. Torture was the only option, after all he is a horse thief. I could hear his tortured screams of agony through the door whilst i was sleeping. I dreamed of evil things, like torture and suffering. several hours later i was woke by the kicking of a guard. I saw the guard standing there dawned in a red gambeson and leather boots. He grabbed me by the shoulder and pulled me across the ground. i knew where he was taking me. when I entered the passage on my back i could see behind us Borcha. he was lying on the floor of our cell, and he was groaning from the pain. we entered the chamber of torture and the guard threw me across the floor against the wall. there were 2 more men in the room with me. the both wore black robes and had evil grins on their faces. They came down on me...

tell me if its crap, hehe. maybe someone else who wrote something about M&B could put it on here to. I'd like to read it.

....did you find out that Marnid tends to aim for you more or something? XD it seems like that had "DIE MARNID ******* DIE!" written all over it.

But yeah otherwise you have a neat and understandable writing style

Thanks, Valarlight. I don't give Marnid a bow for that reason. Also I like to have melee troops as the majority of my party, because I was knocked out about 5-6 times by my own swadian sharpshooters. So i just killed them all with my war bow to keep that from happening again. Maybe I should explain about the part of the story "because he ran like a mule that wasn't placed directly on a land plot building" I was referring to the commodore 64 game "M*U*L*E". the mules run fast when they aren't placed on the house on the right land plot or the go mad. he he...

Part 2

This was going to be, or I thought it was going to be, the worst day of my life if not my last. The men in the torture chamber, who coincidentally turned out to be torturers, had laid me down on a wooden table and strapped me down with leather straps. My heart beat louder to me as one of them turned to another wooden table covered with knives and large iron corkscrews with wooden handles. I thought fast as I could, and could not think of anything to do. So what I did was struggled and screamed for help. perhaps I was lucky, because at the first tug I made on any of the leather restraints that bound me, they came undone. Before the two torturers could noticed I leaped off of the table and dashed towards the door. It was unlocked, so I went through it after I opened it. I did not know which way to go next, because they both led to 1 more door. I had no time to think so I ran left and opened the door. I was back in the holding room, standing in front of Borcha's cell. He saw me and sat up on his bed roll.
"Alex! You have escaped and come to free me. Hoorah!" He said in excited exclamation. I looked around the room for another exit. I could hear the torturers coming out of the torture chamber, and also the sounds of guards talking behind a door in the room. I spotted a door with a barred window. Figuring that it was the exit, I ran to it and opened it. There was passage way of stairs leading up on the other side of the door. I know was sure that this was the exit. Then I closed the door behind me, made sure it was securely shut, and ran up the stairs. The fear of men chasing after me, and the excitement at the fact that I had left Borcha in the cell to die, was building up in me and giving me an adrenaline. I reached the top of the steps to find yet another door in my way. This one was, fortunately, unlocked. I opened the door and walked into another room. I closed the door behind me and examined the room briefly. It was a circular room with more steps leading up, and a doorway out to the town center. I rushed out into the town center and slipped past the guards at the gate. This was easy because they were both facing in towards the town center and i had only to walk behind them silently.

It felt so good to be free, although I had only been captive for perhaps a night and half a day. I had no weapon, so I thought to myself that my best bet was to attempt a journey back to Zendar. Perhaps I would find Marnid. I only hoped that I would not come across any more ridiculously stupid and bloodthirsty manhunters.
I began my journey on foot to Zendar, alone and unarmed, unready for almost anything that could pose as a problem to me.
