My Clan Parties Are Not Generating Notable Relationships.

I used to create armies that fully consist of my clan's parties and rest in towns to keep getting relationship gains with the notables in the town. In my latest playthrough though, at version 1.4.3, this is no longer happening. Is it no longer a feature? Was it unintentional and got removed? Or am I missing a condition or something?

Thank you so much for any help in advance. :3

I'm getting the message "your relation blah blah because of high security" still in my own towns, but I haven't been a vassal in a 1.4.3 game.
Are you seeing the message at all? I'm not 100% it because I'm resting in town though, because I get when I'm away too, although my lazy companion waits in the town a lot... it's weird. It may have changed I'm not sure.

I'm not talking about the high-security relationship gains. I'm talking about relationship gains from your clan's parties.

Just in case you didn't know about that: you can form more parties using your clan members. Leading their parties into an army also costs 0 influence, giving you influence each turn depending on their number of troops. They also used to raise notable relationships with the clan really fast in the towns they rest in but they no longer seem to do that.

I think is it's the same thing, you parking an army in the town raises the security.
What is the message you get when relations are raised? I remember it being the same thing. If it's not then maybe they did remove it.

It felt like your companion party was doing some quests for the village notables and through this way you were gaining relationship with them. I remember it well. Just like you in 1.4.3 I didn't encounter this case. There was only a relation gain in your own villages due to high security. It's not related with companion parties.

Please mods, can we get a clarification on the matter?

I know what you mean but do you remember what the message was?

They're different things. It's not my town, so I can't get relationship gains with its notables by high security. This method, however, is MUCH faster and works in any city. When it used to work in my older save, that is. The messages were the typical "your relationship with xxx has been raised by x amount."

Yeah, it was just the generic reputation increase message like the one you get when completing quests for them. Now that you mention it I too have not seen that in 1.4.3.

This behavior still works in 1.4.2, so it is the beta patch where it broke.

I can confirm I didn't get any relation increases from my party either. Too bad because those relationship boosts are one of the bigger reasons having parties is useful.

Yep this is broke and is causing issues in my playthrough. I have a village in my empire i can't do quests for because my relationship is -12 (one of my parties raided it). With being locked out of quests and companion parties no longer generating relationship, my only option is to get lucky enough to save their villager party from looters if they ever get caught (hasnt happened yet and i have a empire to defend so I can't hang around).
