Luckily the enemy team is a bunch of idiots too

But I have a suggestion - it will be good to start the arena fights with the same colors every time. It happened several times to forget my colors and to kill my own teammate.

Try the arena expansion mod. Its much easier to make out who's on your side.

Unfortunately, the AI are still idiots.

Might it be that your teammates act as if they are idiots because you knock them out? Loss of motivation is a strong side-effect in work environments!
