http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/board,119.0.html - Forgot about Prophesy of Pendor, awesome mod.

All in all COT (chronicles of talera) is my favorite thus far.

Also there was one mod I remember that would let you make your own emblem, but I forget which one it was..

Ty but what are they about, like tera? umm all i see of it was just a bunch of green raiders

To the best of my knowledge Tera Patrick was never involved with Orcs. Talera is a fantasy world where the undead, elves, orcs and two factions of humans co-exist peacefully at war with each other.

Make no sense? Its not suppose to I am tanked and don't care. JUST PLAY THE MOD AND FIND OUT oops forry hit caps to laxy to press backspace.

Well, I dunno about "must haves", but Native Expansion, Roots of Yggsdrasil, Conquest, CoT (Chronicles of Talera) and PoP (Prophecy of Pendor) are all fairly entertaining mods.

Lords and Realms and its add-on (Overpopulation) and Britian 1297.

What's the deal with Prophesy of Pendor?

Chronicles of Telara or whatever its called is not export-compatible with anything else.  And its very very hard.  I appreciate it though because its original.  I think when that one gets more polished it will be great.  Right now it seems difficult to build up an army and there are too many roving bands that team-up.  And for all its attempt at story and quest and RPG-ish, I have not been able to figure out the feel of the world.

Conquest is new and simple.  But simple is good.  Good items and kingdom management...otherwise not so different from Native.

Native Expansion and Sword of Democletes (or however its spelled) are similar, with each doing different parts better.  I would say SoD is better, except for one big exception...I personally don't like the troop trees.

edit:
Horde Lands, IMO had potential to be great, and better / more skins than Chronicles of Telara.  But I have not heard anything on this for a while.  Its has less quests, but more race models.

I do not like the Star Wars mods very much, but they certainly have lots of weapons and races.

When The Last Days come out this summer...everyone will be playing that.  In fact, I imagine that may be published as a stand-alone game or packaged with future additions of M&B.

You could always export your CoT character, compare its stats to your native one, and tweak it where necessary. CoT doesn't change any skills - it just renames them.

PoP is pretty immersive, has a lot of features that people typically look for (fun quests, kingdom management in the upcoming version, better scenes, etc) and is more or less a "total conversion" of M&B.

I can't quite figure out your tone.
And I can't quite figure out why you insist on making these stupid smart-mouth posts.

Sorry, but they are totally uncalled for, and are what give the modders here the reputation of all being idiotic flamers.  :???:

@Lord Anthony: You could try the Hundred Years War mod. It is a total conversion and is quite polished.

Rise of Khergits is my personal favourite mod. And also the Eagle and the Wolves. And Expanded Gameplay III, its at the top of your screen where it says "featured mod"

Thank you all, you have been very helpful. And tommylaw... No one finds you amusing.

Maybe Tommylaw just dont find it amusing that every week someone starts a thread with
"temme whats the best mods", because several people have take the time and write good lists
of released mods.

There are bigger lists with only names oft the mods, also smaller lists with more details...

People make themself the work to write down those lists for people who are new here, so in my
opinion it is just fair for those people to read at least SOME time in a forum in which they are new before they
start question-posts.

But hey, no one does it, in no forum i ever hang around the last 15 years, so just forget about^^.

PS: @ someone who may comment this, this was no flame, when i flame it looks much, much different

Would someone be so kind to close this bs before its causes a few dozen other useless posts?

Not that it depend on a few more ore less, but maybe there is a hidden counter and with the 10.000th spam-post the forum automatically delete itsself.

Lets try to avoid this as long as possible...
