This is so rediculous , i can understand pistols but muskets? comon TW. Bows need to have this as one of their more unique attributes, to move while reloading... If you moved while reloading a muskets you were bound to do one of the reloading steps wrong...

I don't know about you, but whenever I move while reloading a musket, the animation continues for a few seconds, then I restart it from the point where I was when I started moving.

Assuming you had the cognitive capacity of a monkey perhaps. But then I assume you'd also get into difficulty attempting to move and chew gum at the same time.

I think reloading a musket is quite different than chewing gun . you're comparing apples to oranges.

I think you're confused.

The player is WALKING while reloading, he's not jogging around like a lunatic.

I'm sure historically they stuffed up sometimes, but I'm certain bowmen stuffed up more.

A trained musketeer could probably run at near full speed for 90% of the reload time of even a a matchlock. I think the only part he would need to slow down a bit is dumping on the primer.

Hehehe chewing gun *nom nom nom POW aaargh*.

I can imagine being able to reload, gently, while walking at not too high a pace and whilst paying attention to what the hell you're doing.

actually during the English Civil war(s) 1642-47 the musket men carried their shot between their teeth and often walked while reloading as the musket
and pike formations supported each other and were interspersed its one of the reasons why they carried their powder charges in pre-measured
bandoleers then again they also fought around 6 ranks deep so they weren't ALWAYS walking

Shot in their teeth?? I thought musket men  usually tore the bandoleer magazines open with their teeth?

There was this problem in Mount and musket or just about any mod with guns for warband.

Bandoleer apostles were made of wood. Cartridges would have been made of paper, but they weren't as prevalent in the ECW.

As for the OP question, I'm an English Civil War battle re-enactor, and it is indeed possible to reload a muzzle-loading firearm on the move.
You just can't move all that fast on the fiddly bits.
