Multiple suggestions.

I have a few suggestions so I decided to make a quick new topic to save my own time ;p

The leadership feature's unit type restriction is unpractical. The leadership and character skills should only affect party size and unit types should always be unlimited. See any medieval unorganized(even barbarian) fighting group, and it contains many kinds of warriors and weaponry. So I really think it should be free/a lot easier to gather all kinds of different warriors into your group, especially infantry. Atleast it should be free when you capture them, so that they wouldnt take up those very limited unit boxes.. I think the unit type restriction is just lame and unnecessary. If you dont remove it, please atleast make those skills affect the unit type boxes more than party size.. In M&B its very easy to get party of 80 with very limited unit types... It makes the game dull as u can only have a bunch of knights and not add those weaker warriors that you capture or find wandering around the map.. I hope I made my point clear.

The new buying and selling. I think the 632 prices were great and the wages should have gone up instead of everything else going down. Also you get only less than 10 per cent of the original price when you sell items.. That is allright when you sell bunch of crap like river pirate hats or rusty arming swords... But I think quality items like Balanced Swords and non-rusty expensive armor types should have a "demand" among the merchants so that you could get more of your money back when selling these "super items".

Alliance options: I think that you should be able to interfere battles fought between two hostile sides. Maybe even negotiate joining the other to beat a far superior enemy f.e. Dark Knights. Also I think you should be able to bribe (for a ridiculously high price of course and a limited number at a time) Captured enemy warriors(in your slave boxes) into your team. I think one should be able to attack civilians at will (refugees and farmers).

Gloves: What ever happened to gauntlets? I dont need gloves anyway though..

Spending nights/healing your troops in inns.. 1. you should be able to choose "Until Next Morning" no matter what time of the day is, and not wait until evening/dusk. 2. You should be able to spend just a few hours just to avoid those 80 Dark Knights you just escaped after just leaving the inn.. Also if you enter an enemy town you should pay higher price and get more in trades? Or you could get ambushed? Or entry could be denied? Or you could get a party after you?

I also liked the intelligence having 2 skill points, but I guess that wont happen again..

Terrain: I really like the new snow and dusty terrains and I get lot of arena like landscapes which is great.. How ever I greatly dislike those so called "mountains" where battling is just annoying and everything and everyone is stuck. If not removed/limited for good, I think battles featuring big war parties should always happen in a somewhat flat terrain.. Mountains for cavalry doesn't exactly sound what Sun Tzu would pick ;p

a Battle Maker: Yes, a Battle Maker where you could choose your teams for some instant combat ;p Well maybe not, it has the danger of drawing the fun away from the campaign and adventure..

The inns randomly having 1 higher class mercenary to "buy/hire" for a high price.. Ofcourse this means that the unit type boxes should be unlimited..

Ranking up when defeating major enemies, instead of playing 'get 2 river pirate hats' "missions".. Would require to see the king or another war party..

Increased communications with other groups.. Maybe you could hire troops from another party? Maybe you could buy/sell food/equipment? Maybe you could ask them for secret missions? Some adventure please...

Maybe random outlaw bases that change location after raided? Maybe you could capture a city for your cause? Which could be ransomed back by king or player? Well if not city, maybe some small border fortresses on the map? This has a downside though, how to simulate this interestingly without siege weapons? Obviously M&B should not contain them to keep it fun.

Well these things came to my mind now, more later maybe ;p

And I really really like the bastard sword now! Well done.

I'd second most of that.  Especially being able to attack refugees at will, and choosing sides between two hostile groups. The amount of times i've had to wait around for a battle to end so i can loot a caravan, or exact my vengeance on some weakened dark knights...

At the moment the game doesnt exactlycater for the darker of us, who basically want to pillage EVERYONE.

You're back a version.  Those restrictions are gone now.

What?  Gauntlets are included.

You get higher prices for buying from enemy towns, I dont know if the same applies to tavern prices.  The until next morning is a legitimite suggestion, I guess.

True, the large cav. AI parties should avoid mountains.  Infantry should head for them if being chased.

A good idea, but pretty commonly suggested

The first is a good idea, but also commonly suggested.  I agree that more interaction needs to be implemented, but for now, try the 1066 mod.

Seige weapons would be amazingly boring, actually.  Many mods also have town capture features now, usually by storming the gate or walls.
