When I say within a few seconds, I mean you need to issue all 25 within a few seconds. For example, just continously pressing 1-5 on the keyboard with standard bindings will cause the game to crash, because the orders overload. I thought about upgrading, but I heard from someone else that you can't mount the horses of people you kill in combat after .621. Is that true?

Hi Oskui,

I haven't been able to reproduce the bug in the most recent version. The latest version is 0.623 and is (hopefully) quite stable. So feel free to upgrade.

You can mount horses of fallen enemies/comrades in .623.
