[multiplayer] You call 1.143 patch "balanced" ?

I think spawn points depend on where your side's troops have been on the map, so they aren't completely random, and besides since advantageous spawn positions are randomly given, one side won't get more than the other. As I pointed out in an earlier post, being a musketeer as a Swede got me just one kill to about 6 deaths yesterday against the Khanate, but switching to melee infantry got me many kills- clear and simple proof that the score of individuals and the team isn't just down to lucky spawns in team deathmatch. Of course the rapid respawns and unpredictable respawn positions influence the outcome, but player ability and troop type are important, especially troop type. It isn't necessarily 'weak players' pulling the score down. That's surely much more the case in battle mode, since if people split up or race towards the enemy they get killed. I've been near the bottom and near the top, it just depends on circumstances- lucky respawns, whether teammates are working well together, what equipment you have, what the factions are. That was a strange thing for you to say anyway, considering you also maintain that it is nothing to do with player skills or troop types.

I beg to differ - the Miqulet Musket is very accurate, regardless of who uses it. The accuracy difference between playing Sweden with a Miqulet and playing the Cossacks with a Miqulet is so small that I don't even really notice it. I do, however, notice an enormous difference in accuracy when playing a Polish Musketeer and picking up a Miqulet off a dead enemy.
Given the firearm skills are above 100 there should be no difference in accuracy, the limitation is from the weapon itself at that point rather than the skill. It will increase damage and reload speed though, at least if it operates the same as the crossbow skill.
The combination of damage, accuracy, and price makes them way too good. I don't know that I've ever survived a Miqulet hit that wasn't at really extreme range (though I don't play plate-infantry), and even then you're usually left with only a tiny amount of health.
I've seen it take multiple hits with a miquelet to drop targets. Note the main difference is from the price - getting a Miquelet and a spiffy hat means you can only afford to upgrade one of the bullet slots. Until you've got a few kills the standard good musket will hit harder simply because you can afford to take the high quality bullets with it.
