Surprised there isn't already a thread for epic stories, so post 'em here.
Embellishments welcome

I had an awesome time today on HGN_Team_Deathmatch server. The map suddenly switched to random steppe with one of those rare flat maps. The factions were Khergit v. Rhodoks. The server had about 40 people at the time. Now us rhodoks were thinking "we're screwed" and we seemed to be at first, but HGN_Viceroy_RedBaron was somehow managing to kill lots of guys. In the teamchat he says "everyone get a pike and group up with me". About 3 of us did it and we starting poking khergits like there was no tomorrow. In a matter of seconds at least 10 people, half our team, was around us. "Upblock and follow me" he says and we all did it. We ended up kicking khergit ass in full rhodok armor in their own territory.

Looked for these too

Ok, here's mine
Few weeks ago I joined  22nd Siege server and found Rhodoks defending against just begun Swadian attack in Helms Deep v2. I took Rhodok Sharpshooter and went to the backdoor. Arriving there I saw a lone sergeant holding the doorway against a dozen Swadians. I had enough time to yell to the teamchat: "HELP at the backd" when the sergeant died and enemies rushed in. I used my single shot to kill an enemy crossbowman and then charged with my sledgehammer. The idiots attacking just swinged wildly their bastard swords. My tactic was just run amongst them and use left block a lot and kill them with the deadly overhead attack. When they finally took me down I saw allies coming and finishing the remaining intruders.
My k/d ratio was 9/1 after that

You find your screenshot and upload at somewhere like Imageshack. Then you get the link to your picture and paste it in between this

I had a fun time yesterday on the big 22nd siege server. One instance was on a custom map, a Sarranid castle with plenty of small mud brick houses outside to shield the attackers' spawn point. It is one of those custom maps which features a tall keep, with stairs on the outside being the only way to reach the top, and because of this is very hard to get to the top of. We were Sarranids (or maybe Vaegirs) attacking Swadians, and after much slaughter on both sides, we were able to get a decent number of us to the roof of the keep where the flag was. The roof was covered in Swadians, mainly crossbowmen. I had brought 10 javelins, and still had a few, and managed to throw a couple into the crowd before drawing my sword and hopping into the melee. There were just a few teammates ahead of me on the roof, so I was able to avoid the attention of most of the Swadian melee guys, and once on the roof amongst the crossbowmen, it was a slaughter. I ran through them, slashing as I went, the crossbowmen with their attention on people ascending the stairs and the Swadian swordsmen having a devil of a time getting a clean attack at me with so many of their allies in the way. My kill death ratio was something like 3/5, or maybe a few more deaths even, but after that frantic  20 seconds or so at the end of the match I had 15 kills! I'm sure a few of our side amassed a devastating body count as well, it was great, hectic fun.

The only down side was we didn't manage to win the siege, the time ran out while we were still fighting on the roof. That wasn't important though, it is much more fun to have a cool event like that than simply winning the match.

I was a vaegir archer defending Hailes castle on the GK server and the swadians had gotten to our flag, after emptying my quiver of arrows I drew my scimitar and lept into the courtyard with a down blow ready.

Believe it or not, my scimitar cut through someones arming cap and head and killed them, a moment before my feet hit the courtyard, as I had been wounded from earlier I was killed by the impact but I took one with me!

haha  thats awesome... glad you have fun in our server

Yesterday me and my brother where busy playing on the 22ND siege server. We were both attackers since it was that Sarranid outpost castle which is really hard to deffend and rather annoying with all the traps.

After some time I just went to spectatormode while my brother was still busy playing and with 5 minutes left and no victory in sight he said:  "Damn we really need that gate open!" So I told him I could do it. I went Rhodok (Rhodok was the attackers and sarranid deffenders) with nothing but the base equipment no things bought. I raced through the mine field of arrows on to the wall. I waited for another assault of our troops on the gate which was like our 4 man (me not counted) versus their 6 man + 4 archers on the other wall firing at us. While they were chopping eachother up I was opening the gate. And it worked! The gate was open and after quickly announcing that on the teamchat and getting my ass out of there ( I had no intentions of getting myself killed) the rhodoks launched a full charge on the flag and they won!

The second round was a bit of the same thing. I went to spectator mode a bit full of myself for what I achieved and I saw at 5 minutes that we still didn't had victory in sight. I went as a Rhodok infantry again with nothing but the very basic equipment. This time the rush was a bit harder since I got holed up at the walls where the fighting was going on. I picked up a javelin and throwed it into the crowd miraculously killing a enemy (I was like: Lol? ) and with enough distraction on the wall I pushed through deffending myself against the arrows fired from the other side of the wall. Luckily the Rhodok troops where having a full scale attack on the entire castle going on so there was enough distraction. I had to kill another guy at the gatehouse while being in combat with 2 on my side and 3 on their side. We fended them off and I opened the gate again leading to a sweet victory with just 0:59 seconds left. The cavalry that rushed in the castle really made a sweet chaos.

I've learned the value of distraction and waiting for the right moment, Also it's never a waste to have some throwing weapons at hand.

I once managed to get 27 kills to one death on a battle server
Admittedly, i was on horseback, but i was up against pretty good players on horseback as well, so i still felt rather good about it...

Apart from that, slaughtering 10 players as they come storming from the seige tower whilst defending never gets old, especially if you're wearing no armour to speak of and using a bastard sword against fully armoured foes with 2handers (Then people start trying to votekick me..).

Had a good moment today on the 22nd siege server. It was that castle on the coast, set on a tall rock which is reached by a bridge. It can also be entered via small doors on either flank, but you have to go down to the beach first before climbing steps in each case. I had gone the front way, up a ladder to the walls and turned left rather than entering the gatehouse. I was on my own, trying to sneak around and surprise the defending Swadians. A lightly armoured crossbowman spotted me (a guy called Trent), but I didn't put my shield up as I didn't think he would hit me while I ran. He did though . Wounded, I snuck behind a building then went looking for him, but he saw me coming. I tried a couple of throwing axes with no joy, then switched it to melee mode and we fought close up for a few seconds. I got a bit of space between us, and as he came in with his sword, I switched back to throwing and started to hurl my axe when he hit me. Just before he hit me I thought 'damn, too late', but I did just manage to get my axe away and his sword stroke exposed enough of his torso from behind his shield for my axe to hit home, and we both died  We both had a good laugh about it.
