Multiplayer refusing to work

I don't understand. Warband worked fine for me about one or two months ago. And now it breaks down.

I'll give you the story:
After a month or two month break from Warband, I decided to play it again. So I loaded it up, clicked on 'Multiplayer', clicked 'join a game' and..... it freezes on 'favourites'. I'm unable to get out of it, switch to the internet section or anything.
All I can do is right click it in windowed mode and click 'close'. Even then, it still remains in my task manager, and I'm unable to get rid of it. All I can do is restart my computer. This error has also affected my many mods. I cannot play any of them, besides cRPG. But now, after uninstalling the game from Steam (I have the Steam version of Warband), and deleting the Warband folder entirely, then reinstalling the game, cRPG will now no longer work when I reinstall it. This is infuriating, and I haven't found anyone else with this issue on the forum, so please help me.

P.S. I haven't tried Single Player, as I'm not really a Single Player person. I play Multiplayer, nearly all the time when I'm on Warband.

I found that Warband was not enabled in my firewall, and have given it access. I now get this error upon clicking 'Play' from the launcher:
'error loading earlyZ shaders'. I still have had no success with this.
I clicked 'retry', with no success, then clicked 'cancel'. I then got an RGL error, and the program CTD'd.
Please help! 

EDIT: I fixed it.
