My point was a turn based Mount & Blade would suck. If you can't make it multiplayer with the exact game that it is, it's not even worth the terrible effort it would take to do it.
Count me in for testing, but as far as I know, M&B needs to be MMORPG to be fun! Think of mercenaries being actual people for hire and they are only knocked unconscious. Then towns will have real people making deals with other people. When in a village, you recruit actual people and you pay then weekly in a term that they'll follow your army. (sorry if I'm threadjacking but M&B has a LOT of potentials. It can even compete with WoW for a change.)
