Script extender would depend on precisely what you expected the script to do. Main issue being that Python is only used by the mod system rather than the game.

People used to long-distance chess via carrier pigeons. Now, suppose you train a carrier falcon. They can carry the weight of a desktop computer with ease, and they go pretty fast too, averaging up to 80 m/s (~180 mph). You just need to stick a handle on your computer case, and the falcon can carry it. It could probably carry 3-4 computer cases tied together if you want, because falcons can carry a lot of weight, so you can have like 3-4 people participating in the same game.  Of course, you don't really need to have it send your entire computer case, just data copied onto a DVD or USB memory or something like that, and then each falcon carry hundreds of those, making rounds from one player to another. So, take that and now train like 100 or 1000 falcons, and you have an entire network of carrier falcons, each capable of making hundreds of stops before completing it's round.

It would be nice to have, and multiplayer might become possible with it.  You and others can try and get started on it.  Let us all know how you accomplish it.

You do realize both Morrowind and Oblivions Script Extenders are mods right and not actually made by bethesda, but by the player base, and in turn opened up many new possibilities the game originally couldn't do.

Yes I realize that, but M&B modding is different than Oblivion, something which you do not realize.  I would definitely help out with a script extender if I thought it was possible, as I could definitely use more functions.  Just like I am glad to look over anything that this team comes up with if they need me to.

You're right, he probably needs a few modelers to give his connections a nice shape, or texturers to make packets prettier!

I was wondering, though, does anyone in the team has actual networking experience? Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to start looking down on the idea, I'm just a little curious, I'm truely looking forward to any form of progress, and I might be able to get little bits of infos from students in my program who studied networking (I'll start in about 4 months, heh).
