I personally have taken a strange liking to the multiplayer. My first time with mb multi and i must say im kinda addicted. Good foundation to build on imho.

We may see something for mp..next week, thursday.

People gave positive reviews but if you read the comments everyone talking about MP speaks about the flaws and lack of communication. They were just too scared to put a negative review because that would mean they waited 8 years to get ****ed.

Lol get out of here, nobody is "scared to leave a negative review". Overall people like the game.

I wouldn’t say people are scared to leave a bad review, I would say that it’s mostly casual people reviewing with memes. Rn the game is set to die, a very very early death. Warband was built on a community that’s a cult, and I would say 95% of those people have a huge problem with bannerlord

Zero of my friends list are playing multiplayer. All of them, with thousands of hours in warband each, burned out and frustrated before reaching 100 hours of mp in bannerlord. Oh well, I got other games and we'll always have warband.

Everyone can quit so Can get good and win everything when these players return after game is fixed.

And mb always been about sp mods anyways. This supposed to be an esport now?

It has not been about sp what? Warband has always had a mp community, at one point even bigger than sp. sp is great and all, but mp was one of the big things that kept the game alive through crpg, mercenaries, Persistent world, Nw, full invasion, and so many more mods. How long have you been around to think that?

My bad bro, I guess it is an esport now. Though I think your warband mp community has and was been pretty niche. Forgive me.

And not long enough apparently.

It may have been niche the last two years but before 2017-18ish it was massive. Games die after 6-7 years unfortunately

In fact, I am also a game developer. Although I focus on 3d art design, I also know a little about engine function development and product planning. The experience of similar products and your feedback and Suggestions have inspired me a lot and provided me with important experience on how to develop the game products that the players dream of in the future.

The multiplayer has a bigger community in the sense there is much more interaction between people then singleplayer. From the dozen of mods to the countless of events made, multiplayer has a stronger community in the sense it actually exists

I personally love playing skirmish mode with my clan. The game has a good foundation to build upon but it is true that there's still quite a bit of work to be done in order to polish it.
Hence why it's in Early Acces.

I consider myself mainly as a MP player (coming from NW) but that doesn't mean I don't enjoy the SP and all the fun that comes with that.

MP however is what kept (imo) a large portion of the Warband community alive for the past few years whilst waiting for Bannerlord (e.g. the Napoleonic Wars dlc or mods like Full Invasion and Persistent World). With this early release, it is very noticeable that the developers are focusing heavily on SP as most of the bugs happen there (especially the sieges with AI are messy).

I wouldn't say "MP is dying" though. Have a little faith. I've been waiting for this game just as long as any of you and I'm willing to wait a little longer for all the fixes still to come whilst enjoying the game and the features it has atm. I'm sure there are others out there that share the same view.

Enjoy the game and see ya on the battlefield!

Honestly, I agree - but those tweaks have been pointed out, given examples of, and discussed in the beta for nearly a year now and many are still not implemented. The changes needed for MP to become pretty decent are not huge - sure there also some overhauls many would like to see (like to the class system) but the bare necessary changes are mere tweaks of numbers in files and were obvious for months in beta. That time was completely wasted and there hasn't been much forthcoming from the developers in terms of whether or not they're ever coming.

I honestly think that they released the multiplayer alpha/beta without any intentions on making any significant changes at all. I think they released it to get some feedback on combat mechanics and what not and then mostly just focused on desperately trying to have single player be playable for their targeted release date. If you have a look at the single player campaign it's obvious that it was JUST finished and in a hurry. So, I don't think it's that the time was wasted, I legitimately believe they never had any intention on improving multiplayer as most people see it.

I guess you're right, because in beta testing, it was all about multiplayer, and the current EA testing is probably just testing single player games
