the glaive from the video didn't one shot anybody, please watch again
ye sure m8
100+ dmg for light inf classes in the first video doesn't mean it's a one shot, right?
also, just 70+ dmg for heavy infantry while the horse has no speed at all ?

and I mean, you could pick this class in MP too and see it actually one shots people lol

Tork, unless you're a lot better at Bannerlord than you were at Warband I don't know how you can believe what you're saying.

So one-shot glaive is okay in your eyes? Or the moment when Shema destroys 3 infs riding through narrow passage?
Absolutely okay if you hit his head while galloping full speed and they are inept enough to not block or dodge. Two handers are capable of 1-shotting people even whithout the said bonus. This is a two-hander with a horse's speed bonus, of course it will one-shot lightly armoured troops.

How can you even mean this lol
I see, maybe this absolutely amazing video argument will convince you, since everything that is shown in the video is representative of the balance(not really):

Try going as heavy cav 1v1 against me. I'll go infantry or even archer and I'll either straight up kill you or at least dismount you, I can guarantee that. We can do a ft7 and I'm sure I'll win even though I barely play both inf or archer. Heavy cav is trash tier weak and you know that, I don't get why or who you try to fool.

I've literally owned you 1v1 cav in this game and I'm **** at cav.

Cav is not completely OP in this game compared to Warband - it has some buffs and some nerfs. But claiming heavy cav is trash tier is literally trolling, it is hugely forgiving.

Again, he rode through 3 infs and destroyed them while they were trying to kill him with spears. He dealt 70+ damage while STANDING. Have you even seen the swing damage parameter of this glaive? It's insane. The heavy cavalry classes are broken.

What is this video? Battanian cav should be buffed? Yes. You rode into 6 people and wanted to get away with it? If you would have done it we could claim the game is totally broken

Go on ft7 me, we'll record it and settle the debate once and for all.

ft7 me and figure it out

Check how much a two-handed axe can do while standing and compare. It's not like the damage calculation behaves differently if you suddenly sit on a horse.

How quaint of you to notice that I'm doing a bad tactical decision in the video, but have you not noticed it's the same thing Caius and Shema do in their videos? But they get away with it because they play against newbies. And in that video I didn't get away with it because I played against people who can hear cav coming from around the corner and are adeuqate enough to prepare spears and know how to use it.

with the horse you can just bumpstab them aswell, with some speed it oneshots easily. Ever tried 2h axe, you probably wont even get into the fight with that vs half decent enemies.

I mean, charging head first into spears is what you did in MM as well.
I guess it's a no for ft7?

Sure see you on the duel server.
We can do it at TDM or try using skirmish for that. We can lower it to ft3 to make it easier. There are options, don't act as if it's impossible.

Heh good joke. I mean it does happen, but it's not at all reliable compared to Warband and only god knows when they are going to fix it.

Then why give a lancer 170 dmg weapon while those infs can't even kill your horse because they have axes that do 20dmg at best?

If you ride into 3 newbies that at least try to damage you with spears in a narrow passage in WB you're dead.

Sure. When I win will you claim it needs to be in a tournament for it to count statistically though?

Going to be hard to make a ft7 without duel is it not?
Yep, not gonna be easy. We'll need either to join TDM and collect enough gold to get preferable classes and then find a quiet place that would allow us to duel.

Or we could try joining skirmish at the same time and hope we'll end up in opposite teams. If we manage to find 10 willing people we can search as two stacks as there are people reporting that this method is apparently often working, meaning that MM uses some sort of queue that doesn't prioritze by time of waiting so there's a good chance of our stacks facing each other.

What are you even on about? The courser menavlion has 147 swing damage, the infantry heavy menavlion has 177 and longer one has 149. When standing they deal equal amount of damage. There are other variables that affect damage though, like armour and the quality of the swing but nonetheless it's the same system governing it, and it doesn't differentiate by the "mounted" variable.

If you ride into 3 newbies that at least try to damage you with spears in a narrow passage in WB you're dead.
Not really. I stomped newbies in WB the same as I do now in BL.

Does it matter? You'll have a videoproof of me getting stomped by heavy cav after I claimed that it's trash. My words won't count for much after that.

While menavlion, no doubt, is another broken weapon. On the related video, you have the honor to see so-called glaive which is a weapon for Khuzait faction.
In WB cav could only one-shot using couch lance and it wasn't something easy to do. If you wanted to kill infantry in close combat while mounted you needed at least 3 hits. Now you have the possibility to one-shot infantry or if you're unlucky 2 shot the guy. While, for example, battanian infantry needs 5 hits (without bounces) to kill you and approximately infinity to kill your horse. The point is the current implementation of heavy cav is broken compared to other classes. Perhaps, if they rework combat the situation will change and we could ask TW to add more health to light mounts so you could ride into 6 people without any danger.

It's not related to the example I'm talking about. We all stomp newbies, wow.
