multiplayer 1v1 large battle?

So why is there no multiplayer mod where there are basically 2 players with each having like 300 troops and going against eachother on a random map?

That is a great question. Like a 1v1 Captain Mode.

very high quality suggestion, it actually seems like a no brainer of a game-mode.

Also, 1v1 siege would be great (with AI troops), of course, a small handicap for the defender (like 250 VS 300 or something)

The boosted Captain mode is only the basic mode, juste with more troops ?
Here the discution was about a 1 VS 1, Army VS Army mode. (I dream of it every day ?)

No worries I always assumed it wasn't practical. A server for only 2 people isn't cost effective.

Maybe something that can be modded in the future.
