Hey, hopefully this is the right place to post this. Basically, I want to make a suuuper altered version of prophecy of pendor. like, to the point in which you can't tell its pendor. Thats not important to the post though, so I digress. To cut right to the point, I basically am in search for some sort of tutorial in moving the map from Perisno and replacing the map in Prophecy of Pendor. I just need to know how to do it right and what I will need to do to allow it merge into the world of Pendor concerning things like fief-holders, factions in control, party spawns, etc. Is this something that is extremely complicated? I'm no modder and I cannot necessarily work with codes without extensive step-by-step guides, so if it will take 10 hours of coding and whatnot to get it done just tell me beforehand and let me stop myself.

you are talking about copying stuff from mod A into mod B.

1) Do you have permission from mod A?
2) Do you have permission from mod B?

If not, you can't use those resources. Check both mods forums for how they restrict the license. Or ask the developers there.

Once  you have permission and you know if you can also use the modules (source), you can worry on HOW TO DO and HOW LONG would it take. Without the source on both... you would probably not finish in 10 hours anyway

I suppose I forgot to mention that what I am doing is PURELY for personal use. I have no intent to distribute my work in any fashion, and therefore will never give people the chance to mistake me as the creator of content sourced from the other modules. Because of this, I believe that my alteration of said modules is warranted and therefore permissions are not of the utmost importance. Correct me if I'm wrong, of course.

you will still need the source of both if you want to do it in reasonable time.

you will have to copy the towns and places from the map you want to implement to the parties.module from the module you want to play.
you will have to move the map files themselves to it
etc.

without the module systems it would be a long, anoying and close to impossible job of trying to get it with the txt files.

Could you explain the method of doing it with the module system, then? At least, skim over it and give me the basics. I've never used the module system before. Also, what do you mean by needing the 'source'?
