You would be very surprised. Go to our thread, and read the School of the Soldier. We have a shooting guide there. If you become proficient at judging distance and compensating for bullet drop, you can achieve a surprisingly good hit-ratio even at long range.
There is no such thing as luck. There is even a formula behind so-called "randomly" generated numbers, and there is always a way to improve your "chances" of success significantly. To say that there is no skill involved in something is to deceive yourself.
Also, that isn't so bad of an idea. Perhaps we should make a demonstrational video.
Yeah, although I totally believe you Argus, I would also like to see a video of your best marksman and very good work on that "School of the Soldier". That's something every regiment should teach.
