  before I buy the game I need to solve another problem if u don't mind .... lately I deleted mount and musket and reinstalled it cuz I thought that it's causing the problem of being kicked .... but now when I go to join any server they tell me that I don't have the mod of mm russia 3 you know ..... but I have it installed in the warban folder ... maybe the problem is in the folders .... can u tell me the right way for the folders to be put ? thank u

would not having a steam version of mount and blade warband be of any problem when trying to join MM server, and yes before anyone calls me an idiot or whatever i have bought a legal copy of mount and blade from my local games store!!!

Hey guys. When I try to connect to MM servers it, I get this:
Error:
Unable to connect to server
Yesterday, everything was fine, and this is the first time I got that error.
Does anybody happen to know the solution to this problem?
EDIT: Everything is ok now, I solved it. I just changed the line use secure connection from 1 to 0 in the rglconfig.txt (thanks to blink180heights who's post i read on how to solve it).

I keep getting this error when trying to connect to MM servers: "This server is running a module not installed on your computer." I have a legit copy of the game and it's updated (steam purchased). I have tried reinstalling the mod a few times but to no avail.


What could be the problem?

Do you have the latest version of the module installed? If you don't please go to the link below.
Are you sure you're correctly selecting the M&M module before launching the game?

Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Mount&Blade Warband\Modules

Do you see a mm russia 3 there? When you start the game, there is a dropdown menu with some options. Have you picked mmrussia3 there?

Just installed the mod today.

Everything ran fine.  I was able to reach the menu, go to Multiplayer and view the servers.

The problem, however, is that I'm unable to join any server.

I get the message "This server is running a different module than what the one you have installed.  Would you like to switch over", or something along the lines of that.

Can anyone help me out?

[Edit] Realised that this was already posted...  Also I would like to say that I have the latest version of M&B 1.143, as well as the latest version of the mod.

The mod has an install wizard. 

Once you've downloaded it, just go through the same process you would when installing any other program.

Hey there, ok so i probably already know the answers im gonna get but ive been urged to ask so ill go ahead and do so.

Ok first of all my internet connection is great, but i cant seem to get alot of servers on the server list. Its like cetain days i get servers on the list before they never show up again. And it's really frustrating me because i so want to play this mod.

Do i need to have the servers port unblocked or something? i would think this might be the problem but ive seen most of the servers at one point in time before.

Any way to increase the number of servers showing up on the list? i only get like 15, and only 1 of them is a MM russia server...

Make sure that you have the module selected in the startup splash:

You can select it from the drop down menu
Then you can run the game

Make sure that you aren't Filtering the servers.
If that's not the problem then you might want to turn off your firewall and trying it then.

geForce GTX 550 Ti
4GB ram
XP windows

Anyone has any idea what I'm dealing with here? My tip is it has something to do with RAM as it lasts longer when only few people are playing.

I would suggest that you start by performing some basic tasks such as re-installing M&B Warband, the MM Module and make sure to kill any unwanted process running in the background while playing.
