M nailed it, regarding stamina systems.

I will stab Lagalot in the face IRL if a stamina system were implemented, and I don't think anyone wants to see that happen.

Oh that's different from player to player... some patchquitted, others just changed to inf, or to singleplayer, some are playing only on servers that are using the balanced archer athletics of version 1.153 like Wolfpack servers or ZHG but still with unbalanced equipment, and I matchquitted cause I'm afraid one day I might get the short end of the stick and end up having to play as archer in a match...and some still play archer cause they noticed that if they're just hopping like rabbits they're still as fast as before in melees xD
 
Do we have any idea if TaleWorlds will be appearing at Gamescom with new info about Bannerlord? It is, after all, easier for the team to drive to Germany from Turkey than flying to the US for an event like E3.
 
I started playing archer more. No issues, still killing more people in melee than by shooting them though :razz:.

Well Swadia is really OP, armor for inf too cheap, the helmet tweak on crossbows allows them to gear up to haubergeon with a good helmet and a heatershield + heavy crossbow, and all that without having to get a single kill but simply surviving the round, unless you used the regular crossbow this wasn't possible before the tweaks (except if you used lesser equipment for the other things)
 
I think reducing the price of the brigandine was a mistake, but swadians have always being able to armour up quickly, swadians can snowball easier than any other faction but they need to decisively win a round to do that and their starting equipment doesn't lend itself to that. It's a bit better now but previously there was just no point buying anything other than the free sword and awlpikes, the swadians lacked throwing, shield breaking or high damage weapons and their shields were average at best.

I think swadians needed access to cheaper weapons of their own (since they were 100% reliant on looting weapons before) but they didn't need cost reductions on armour and the cav price reductions were also unnecessary. That just helps them snowball more when they were already good at that.

Personally I would have just liked to keep the dart and 1H sword price reductions and give the swadians a second line of 1H weapons, probably the 1H hammers from singleplayer. They were always associated with swadia I believe and would give a harder hitting weapon which has a shorter range. That would remove the main problem swadians had which was getting good enough weapons to actually win rounds in the first place while avoiding the current issue which is the ease they are able to snowball. The only thing their cav needed rather than cheaper horses, was throwing and crossbow skill comparable to all the other cav, but they still don't have that (only class with literal 0 skill in those areas).
 
Will roll out a beta for the new patch today. Just fixes some issues with the multiplayer skills being wrongly assigned (should cover the error that allowed Vaegir Archers to mount horses coursers). In addition, will be fixing the buildings.

The patch will now be released on Monday so that if there are any issues, we can address them immediately.

Does this include saddle horses?
No sorry. They can't mount Coursers. Fixed it now.

Pity really, it was one of the more interesting bugs in terms of gameplay and underused so far in competitive play. Cav archers/xbows are something I really would have liked to see more of since they have a lot of dynamics people aren't aware of or explored yet.
 
I guess this also removes the ability for vaegir cavalry to use short bows as well as probably a fair few other minor stat adjustments for classes across the board? If that is the case then is there any way you can tell us what the stats actually were before so we will be able to see the actual changes resulting. Otherwise this is going to end up as a potentially randomly hitting patch that does way more than what the ranger athletics nerf did. For instance did vaegir and sarranid cavalry actually have 0 athletics or were they being assigned extra points to this via the same mechanism.

You can check the stats in single player if you open up the character screen and navigate to the multiplayer troops. There will be the weekend for everyone to test it out too and see if there's anything particularly wacky.

It seems Sarranid and Vaegir horsemen did have 0 athletics before.
