Stamina makes game more tacktikan than clickal.
It not fun someone click alot of time to crack your shild or someone runing around the field without tiring and you should chase him all around, its foolish.

Its a game try to simulate middle ages battles not only a cheap action game to have fun, there are a lot of fun game you can click and click and click without thinking.

Adding Stamina system makes a better game that you must a bit think to your act to analyse your stamina your opponent and etc.

A lot of players loves this game cus its simulate and every thing make the game more simulator its better to the game.
I think more players are mature, and mature guys dont like a childish game only clicking.
I promise if they add stamina and other simulator thing to the game this game ll be more fav to the ppl and player and game go far better.

Or make a stamina mod and play with your friends who think the same, or in SP. It just doesn't fit with the current gameplay and mechanics. It would just add nothing of value while being a detriment.

Play mod if you want different game mechanics. Warband native should stay as it is a there is already a M&B "e-sports"/competitive scene which likes the game the way it is now (now means without new balance imo *cough*).

As a player who plays this game about 5-6 years, i always fells lake of stamina in my fav game.
And i didnt see any stamina mod BTW.

I don't see why stamina wouldn't work if implemented properly. It's strange to just rule out features based off of their execution in other games when it might play out totally differently in a game like Mount&Blade.

Off the top of my head, what if stamina was used up only when attacking, regenerated slowly when doing single attack/blocking and quickly when only blocking. When depleted, you could still attack but your attacks would be, let's say, slightly slower and you have a very low chance to stun. Then you have the tradeoff of retaining stamina vs shield breaking. I mean that's just off the top of my head and the devil is always in the details. I can't really think of many features that would make the game terrible as long as they were implented well.

Personal opinion by the way. There is nothing to read in about Bannerlord.

This is unacceptable! What are they trying to do to the community???
A stamina system for Bannerlord that you can't even turn off??? That's criminal!!
You are forced to sit out most of the battle, unable to move and attack! Why, Taleworlds, why??
I'm not going to buy Bannerlord ever and would recommend to everyone I know not to buy it as well.

The only stamina system worth a damn is the one already in every game, your actual real life mental stamina relative to who you're playing against. Learning how to put pressure on theirs without putting yourself under pressure.

Most of them try to model that and it always works out as a limit for people who are good at the above and an equaliser for people who aren't. Stamina systems are usually there because your baseline abilities in the game are too powerful and require an artificial limiter beyond how long you can do it vs how long your opponent can stop you doing it. Super (reverse stamina) systems are usually there because the baseline abilities aren't powerful enough to put out adequate pressure without temporary "break through regardless" powers, or as a comeback mechanic to make pre-super decisions and momentum worth less.

+1

Stamina...stay away from it TW if you want to keep your "e-sports" scene (imo).
Add a stamina add-on for the ones who like it but pls pls dont implement stamina into the vanilla game (may it be warband or bannerlords).

Stamina in Bannerlord...if it turns out to be planned for the game, I will lose more and more hope that the long waiting is worth it.

for every babby crying about new features there's actually 30 silently content ones. also "e-sports", dont make me puke.

I don't think adding stamina would add anything fun to m&b though, the combat system can be balanced by other means.

I actualy stole the term e-sports for the warband competitive scene from captain lust so puke on him and TW if you need to.

Stamina ll add more fun and also realism to the game, with that you must swing your weapon wisely.
Stamina for characters and horses avoid running all the time around the field with no tired.
The way of mount and blade passed from first day was to simulate old warfare not a game players click and click.
A game like this is nt only about who click faster and more is winner, i hope they add stamina and such things to add more strategic and tactical items to the game, for example sort you soldier line before the battle and more smart to AI enemy general to command his soldiers.

I forgot to say there's too much medieval combat and weaponry already DONT ADD MORE IN BANNERLORD. The action can be too frantic, and having to choose between too many items is confusing.
Concentrate instead on the morality of the main protagonist. Is he pure of heart? Or does he engage in vile e-sports? Your move, TW, don't mess it up.

If there will be stamina, it will be affecting your ability to use siege weapons/open doors/etc. Possibly sprint or jump.
:!:

Well slow movement on stairs in general makes sense. You wouldn't be able to sprint up stairs with all that armor you've got on

Tell me you're joking. How is it logical that I move at normal speed up a ladder, but not stairs?
