Hello, I would like one or more modders to create an easy mod (the basic version of the mod that is) for me and my clan called [IEC] Clan, Imperial Eagle Clan and the public, I can't add the link as I haven't been on the forum long enough yet, that features Russian Partizan Zombies, it is easy because not much has to be modded in my eyes, though if you were to change the Partizan to a zombie model I would appeciate it, some blood effects for instance on the dead, we have our own servers and are ready to move one of our NW server to the mod straight away.

How does the mod work?

  • The goal of the game is to have a few Russian Partizans at the start and many Line Infantry, as Line Infantry die, they become zombies, the British or whatever faction except the zombie faction on Team 1 (not zombies on Team 1), the Line Infantry win by surviving not by score, but by a time limit of a minimum of 15 minutes, all the way up to 30 or 60 minutes ideally.
  • All players start a round as any nation except Russia which has Russian Partizans.
  • 1 player is switched to Russian Partizan for every 5 players in the game, 20 for 200 players at start.
  • Team 1 is British, you may only go Line Infantry, Russians may only go Russian Partizan.
  • Russian Partizans may only use melee weapons, which includes guns and can pick up weapons, but can not fire them or throw bottles for example.
  • When a player on the British dies once, they are swapped to Russian Partizan to become a zombie, teamkill does count, though this should be enabled or disabled based on the server settings.

Notes: Server can be hosted for free which is a benefit for the players. Players that are not zombies can shoot etc. Rules on our server (30 players max, we can change to 200) for ADMIN RULES SERVER (NOT NEW) which features this: Start as UK Line Infantry, 1 Russian Partizan will be selected for every 5 players on the server, if you die once, change to Russian Partizan, zombies can't shoot or use bottles, don't kill the admins which are Russian Line Infantry on horse.

It has to be free! lol :smile: But if they make the mod good enough and popular, I don't mind paying a few quid to get the client, just keep the server free :smile: Like what happened with Napoleonic Wars.

Well, it doesnt HAVE to be.
But I do want to, so it will be free.
however, it is NA based.

That's a shame.
If you can live with 100-200 ping, then enjoy.


If not, you might have to find someone else to host it, or host it yourself.
 
It doesn't matter if its hosted by different areas of the world, people will just join the servers closest to them, we will have to put Europe_Zombies or something on the name.

Not necessarily.
Would you rather be on a close server with abusive admins, or a further away server with great admins?
 
Our admins are not abusive, it takes ages to become a senator with admin powers in our clan, if they are reported for misconduct then they will be banned from the clan, whilst it takes around a year to become a senator. So they don't abuse, the whole point of this mod is to not need admins in the first place.
 
I already do this, just without the mod. IT GETS SO DAMN HARD TO CONTROL AAHHHHHH-

This is brilliant, can't wait to see what happens.

Already made this partially for WB MP native and I will port it to NW the moment the module system is released.

I don't know how much I have put in the release, but in the dev version;
-everyone starts as a human
- after X amount of seconds a random person gets switched to zombie team. (If there is many players, more humans will become zombie)
- If humans die, they respawn as a zombie. (I am working on a sytem that will kinda reanimate their corpses after a random amount of time. This would prevent camping a single spot all the time.)
- There is two zombie classess; fast and heavy. Heavy can take more hits, but is slower and therefor only suited to breach a camping spot.
- at the moment, the zombies have swords (which looks silly I geuss, but I got no alternative yet)
- Humans can choose between; Crossbow and brawler. Neither have a melee weapon, but the brawler has more health and armor + he packs a punch with his fist and could potentially kill a zombie. (provided that you chamber him a few times, or a crossbow has hit him before)

Can you give us a link the the Dedicated Server Files so I can host a game, none exist at the moment???
