Mount&Blade Warband Modding

Hello everyone.

I would like to start modding of Warband,but unfortunetly i dont know if tools which worked for M&B will work on Warband. If you can,please tell me which tools are best and which of them should i use for modding.

Sorry i couldnt use search,because i can barely log-in on the website because of too many people here,and it keeps loading for a looong time

You will be able to use the same tools but the Module System for Warband isn't out yet. If you give it a few days then I'm sure the appropriate forums and info shall be set up.

Ok,i understand,just wanted to hear advice from a guy who knows the tools well.

i cant even find my warband folder anywhere

If you bought it off Steam (which I assume you did) it should be in a folder in your steam folder called either games or apps. Not sure anymore. Never did use steam.

OpenBRF works fine. And the module system will also work -- once it's out.

OpenBRF does work, I believe he was referring to the Troop, Item and Map editor, none of which work for Warband.

Map works, you just need to use it in M&B, and then copy the file into Warband.

If you have steam,then it is located in  Steam/steamapps/Common

Map works, you just need to use it in M&B, and then copy the file into Warband.

remember thet in MandB Vanilla many cities and villages are missing
