Mount&Blade/Warband - Are you still playing?!?!

I can never seem to go away from Mount and Blade or Warband, they have some kind of addictive elements in them.

As for playing it, yes I have played it today... and yesterday... and the day before that.

I don't play for hours on end like I used to because I have many things to do. (Instrument practice, girlfriend, ECT.)

Nope. Probably only played fire and sword for a few hours.

I hop on, on occasion.  Feels good when I play only once every couple weeks or so and still beat half the scoreboard.

I only play when my group goes on. MP isn't really as fun for me fighting as a single person as it is being in an epic mob of spear-chucking fanatics... MnG fixed my spear-chucking needs up

I play Warband very often. The only Native server I frequent is GK Siege, but I spend most of my Warband time on administrating Pedo World.



Hell, it's not even Pedo World anymore, the cybering fad finally died off. No more rapists on the servers, so I guess I'll call the mod something I haven't for too long- Persistant World.

Thought I would post this because I realize I have gone months without playing Warband and yet am on TaleWorlds forums more than a few times a day.
Anyone else on the same boat??
In these perilous times I find myself just going to the Off-Topic forum daily while almost forgetting about M&B completely

We call this the OT Syndrome; even after one completely stops playing M&B, the OT section keeps luring one back

Yes quite often. Mainly administration on PW, play normally every now and again. Used to play Deluge but got bored of it due to there being a very low playerbase.

I check it daily. There are 3-4K daily players. And this is just on steam. There are people with non-steam versions.

I think I pop in like 2 or 3 times a month to play, usually after I'm super bored late at night and have just watched some of my videos or something. I sort of play like a zombie, doing pretty horrible, with an occasional 'waking up' and playing well for 30 seconds.

Not a lot of variety to be had over here. Fastest battles that isn't too full usually, gk siege has 80 people but imho the game doesn't handle that many people well, feels generally like you are playing across the atlantic in terms of responsiveness, not interested in MM if there is a server of that, not interested in crpg, and that is pretty much it. Occasionally the duel server is up, but the only duel you will ever find is fastest speed great sword play. All in all not much variety to pub play.

Still feel like I want to play a game like this, just pretty hard giving a **** after all this time, win a round, shoot a guy in the head, kill 6 people rapidly in some spastic flailing fest, nothing makes me smile anymore, but like a good drug addict I keep coming back looking for a fix

It's a DLC for Warband so the number won't change much. Maybe increase 10% or something.

They bundled it in the M&B collection, and it's actually $1.25 cheaper than the standalone.
