anyone know if there is an english version of the umain.csv, or at least of the strings that were not already in the ui.csv before?

I could get the meaning from the IDs but knowing the full text would be useful for a correct translation.

English texts for uimain.csv are located under en\ui.csv file. ui.csv had to be divided into two for languages having different characters or alphabets, because the start-up screen can only display texts in ANSI encoding. tr\ui.csv contains in-game texts for Turkish version and tr\uimain.csv contains the start-up screen's texts for Turkish version. uimain.csv must be saved in ANSI encoding, not in UTF-8 or unicode. And all other csv files must be saved in UTF-8 encoding.

Yes, most of the texts are in ui.csv. But some aren't. But thinking about it it might only be the texts for the launcher menu, like Play, Configure aso..
Will the ANSI limitation of the launcher be removed in the future? I don't see why it should'nt be possible though i don't know how difficult it is to add unicode support when not using a framework like wxWidgets, which comes with unicode support.

I have to wonder at what people who speak other languages are thinking when they see all these english posts, and add one in their language. Is it some random hope that people might understand them? Or just to screw with the rest of them (that does sound kind of fun)?

Well, I do it very easily.  Before I downloaded the new version, I just renamed my old folder to Mount&Blade.751 and changed the path for the shortcut.  Then I downloaded the update, which auto-created the folder C:\Program Files\MountBlade.  End result: both versions.

Yeah, I have /mb751, /mb803, /mb805 and /mb806 on my system.  Once I export my old chars I can get rid of 803 and 805, but I'll keep 751 for mods for some time.
