Man, everytime I turn around, there's something new to this game

Its becoming more and more of a rare occasion for me to feel that I'm getting my money's worth from a game.

Mount and Blade is one of the games where I feel I've made an excellent buy and recieved my money's worth.

Not to mention the new eastern historical helmets (helmets_d.brf, I think) and props (stone_buildings.brf).

They are hot beyond words.
Pity they're not ingame yet. I really wonder whats going to happen in the next few updates. I'm thinking this is preperation for something big.

I feel as though yes, they will, but only after about two or three weeks to make sure it is totally comprihensive, stable and p'raps ballanced.

Awesome new version! Coming straight from .751 here and the new additions are most welcome.  Multiparty combats are a great new feature, as are the new graphics.  THis game is looking very good. 


A few things I did notice though:

1) I am experiencing the same problems noted elsewhere in this thread regarding multiparty combats.  The game does not like it when you are the last survivor.

2) The cool new reflective metal armors and weapons look great!  But the update doesn't seem to include the horses that are armored.  It was immediately notceable, and makes the horses look rather dull.  If this were fixed, heavy cavalry charges would look even more fantastic. 

3) Not sure if this is as a bug, as its been a while since I played:  After joining the Swadians, the Vaegir parties colors were not changed to red on the map.  I am speaking of the number that displays to show party size.  It led to a surprise attack or three.. "Why is that friendly party coming straight at me....oh".


oh,  the new shields and armors look VERy good to me, the bascinet(sp?) helm is my favorite so far.  Now if only it was time to revamp the low tier Vaegir armors.....

Here's another shadow bug.
After exiting a battle, the ground shadows stayed on the map.
Disappeared when alt-tabing out of the game and back in.

I install the game on my machine with 7300GT card, wow, the meta really reflect the lights.  The graphic looks much, much betterh than .804 and before, thanks for the job.  I really start to wondering what will I see after the environment shadown bug is fixed...

Other than the enviromental shadows being a bit annoying .805 is quite stable in my game. Specially like the new equipment and the new look on some towns like Zendar and Khudan. Can't wait to see the new mods.

hey, just reporting a bug here:


*with ranged weapons that can can have more than one ammo per reload, when you still have ammo, but not enough to fill the weapon the game crashes...

eg: you have a 6-shot revolver and 3 cartridges, when you try to reload the game crashes

Not sure if this is intentional or not but:

When you fail to sneak into a town and have to fight your way out, you cannot leave without killing all of the guards.  Pressing F when you see the Leave text outside does nothing.
