Thx for your reply Soil

Strange thing is that I do not get this shader problem all the time, most of the time, it comes when I am about to enter a castle or a town but not when I enter a village and I didn't ((yet ?) notice this problem on the battlefield
I am sure TheWitcher is gonna solve the problem btw

Barbac

It has something to do with the 'weather'.

Well, I hope so, too. But I don't want him to waste his time trying to figure out the solution and losing multiple days to that.

hey hey hey

I'll be back in action when my broadband stuff will be sorted out this week. I'll be doing something with shaders/textures/'weather' problems next week. More to say - driving 50 hours straight wasn't that much fun TBH. I'm getting new rig this week too, so I'll be able to test all issues on at least three systems.

Damn. It's good to be back!

Hi,

good to see you back.

Sounds good, I hope you finally find a solution.

What, you were driving all the way from Ireland to Poland? Wouldn't travelling on a ferry be the better solution?

Sweet, configs?

Very nice work. I'm excited.

@Soil
wirklich gute arbeit. ich bin aber etwas enttäuscht, dass ich nur durch zufall über dein mod gestolpert bin.
du hättest es im deutschem forum kurz vorstellen können. wenigstens ein link .

@TheWitcher
bardzo ladny mod. ale ja zobaczylem go tylko przez przypadek. w polskim forum nieznalazlem nic o takiej ladnej pracy.
ach, ja mysle Kolba czeka na twoje modele. ty masz duzo do robienia
powodzenia

Google Translate?

Anyway - I'm back on tracks, just installing new system on my shiny new rig. Broadband already connected (yeah - my provider suprised me nicely).

I'll try to investigate all issues during the weekend and report my findings then. I have also few ideas to improve border terrains, maybe add some new stuff too. There are few projects I was asked to participate and Panoramic is more-less a finished thing, so don't expect any new version soon - rather some smaller patch in near future.
Two biggest issues I'd like to address now are wicked shadows and strange colours during the night. If there are any ideas you have about further development - just post them here.

listen... since I installed this mod, my M&B was destroyed! after installation the fonts in game looked horrible and my game crashed, when I started new game/ or loaded a save-game...

I HATE THIS MOD! I HAD TO RE INSTALL MY GAME!

Seriously, stop dicking around you idiot. I have yet to see a post by you not deserving a facepalm.

If you want to be of any use to this forum write down exactly what you have done when you installed it. However, as noone reported a similar error and there's basically no way of screwing the game up like this by installing it the way it's described in the OP except there is some really weird bug in the game.

That means the problem was created by your own personal failure so maybe you should reconsider what to hate.

Now you listen - I never replied to your posts because I don't see the point in wasting my time for infantile trolls. But I bet that not only me would like to see you banned from this forum for eternity. Your comments are annoying, your avatar is annoying, your sig is annoying and actually, everything you represent is an exquisite forum-pet-troll example. And don't even try to justify yourself by your age or whatever coz I've seen 4 year old kids smarter than you.

If you finally find out, that error you've reported is caused by your own stupidity and inability to follow step by step instructions for dummies you don't even need to apologise! - just do me a favour and disappear from this thread for good.

Damn, your parents should lock you in the basement and confiscate your PC.

Tip: Add some Towns  and settlements  in the distance on some skyboxes so sometimes we feel we are fighting near some place and maybe some smoke rising to get that "in-midst-of-war-pillaging-and-destruction" feel. heh i think u get me ... Everything else is really cool

While this sounds cool it's not working that well in practice. If this was added into the outer terrain then every time you fight in x type of terrain you'd see a certain city in a certain position, maybe rotated by some degrees, if some scripted would like to write a script for that.

I'd rather be interested in a script that lets me add additional objects to the outer terrain, so there will randomly be a castle, a few houses, a town, a remarkable mountain etc.

But my hopes of this being script-able are low.

just stamp them into the skybox texture. If it's well done it can create an illusion... just like those mountains that we have now

The mountains are perfect, but can u make them look even further? because in one hand, looks like the map is bigger, but on the other hand, i think its possible to make it look like even bigger. maybe downsize the mountains into a more "horizon line" size, and feel.

they just look a little bit too close. but they are gorgeous!

Heh. No. I explained the problem one post above.

I tend to agree, I consider redoing the outer terrains and with that use a 1:8 height ratio, I guess more height is superfluous.

Oh well, so much to do, so little time to actually get to it.
