I would wait with next release for new add-on, personally.
Judging from the screens they're going to add new shaders, maybe change a bit existing ones. That might give us new opportunities.

I'm too busy in RL right now to do any modding anyway (playing parties, making my own music, doing flat renovation, opening my own booking agency and venue takes a lot of time - 24hrs/day seems not being enough), so I wouldn't expect new release soon if I were you.. :smile:
 
I however might release a small update, probably changing the height-width ratio of the panorama screen and making the outer terrain darker via vertex painting(it's just way too bright at the moment).

But don't hold your breath, I'm pretty busy myself.

@TW: Which kind of music? Anyway, good luck. That sounds like a lot of work :grin:
 
Hey guys need some help here. I was messing around with the mod and forgot to backup my skyboxes.txt file. Anyone have a native non-modified one they can post on here? It's all text so just post it as a normal reply and I'll cut-paste.

I really appreciate it. Hate to have to reinstall everything.... :cry:

Hmm, maybe an original skyboxes.txt file might be useful in the installation kit.
 
Good work really but got some problems. Some of the far land terrains seems different than others, darker or seperated with a vertical line... Gonna catch a few screen.

Thanks for the mod, i like it and would be happy to see it's newer versions...
 
Hey, back a few pages, there was a similar problem to myself, though it didn't really help me...:sad:


In the module.ini folder for the mod(Roots of Yggresaldi for me), I find this.

So I change it to this

Start the game and this happened

I didn't mess with it anymore of the module.ini, so any suggestions?
 
BRF's are the files that M&B runs, mods pack there stuff into BRF's. 
--Re-Read the download readme and make sure to pay attention to where to place the BRF's.

When the dowload was finished, I just extracted it to the directory :razz:

(Backed up skybox.txt  too though)

Thought it was that simple.
 
Simply check if there is a file in your CommonRes folder called pm_textures.brf. And you will most likely see there isn't. Just like there is no pm_materials, pm_terrain_borders, pm_terrain_borders_b and pm_skyboxes either.

How's that? Quite simple: the installation is not done when you extract the folder into your M&B directory, but when you copied&pasted the contents of each folder(CommonRes, Data, Textures) into their respective M&B folder.
That means: You copy the stuff from the extracted PM CommonRes folder and paste it into your M&B CommonRes folder. Same with the other two folders.

Enjoy.

The outer terrain? Yes. Just copy the pm_materials, pm_textures, pm_outer_terrain and pm_outer_terrain_b files into your mod's resource folder and comment out the



load_resource = outer_terrain
load_resource = outer_terrain_b

and add


load_mod_resource = pm_textures
load_mod_resource = pm_materials
load_mod_resource = pm_outer_terrain
load_mod_resource = pm_outer_terrain_b

If you know how you should delete the additional sky textures and materials in the corresponding files.

I keep getting: Get object failed for plainlandsscape far

I added brf files, I added textures, i added

load_mod_resource = pm_materials
load_mod_resource = pm_textures
load_mod_resource = pm_outer_terrain
load_mod_resource = pm_outer_terrain_b

in the module ini file.  :???:
 
I meant to write out instead of only... I fixed the earlier post. Must've been a bit late...


Have you placed the brf files into the mod resource folder?
