Mount&Blade mod making

I am new to mount&blade and I noticed that mods were available to this game and was wondering how to make mods because I have some nice ideas that would make a good mod if anyone would help me that would be great and mods please relocate this post if it is in the wrong secton Thank you.

Well, welcome to the forums, but I don't know how you could've missed the mod section of the forum. But the best place to ask such questions is the Noob Apprentice forum. Or just use common sense and look at the module documentation forum Jerky showed. Damn, that name really hides the content of that forum.
