We could have put our energy toward something productive to the world, like volunteering at a retirement home or picking up trash on the streets. Instead, we spent it speculating about virtually nothing and trolling eachother. That's countless hours of time wasted on an unreleased game that I will never get back, and I wouldn't change it for the world. <3

EDIT: Woohoo! Ten days of online activity finally makes me a Knight! It's as if my time here all these years has finally been validated!

Am i the only one that thinks the lamellar in bannerlord is a bit strange?
Yes.

We're talking about a medieval world called Calradia where vikings, nomads late romans and desert dwellers are all in the same map area.

Almost anything goes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eao4SONuZs4

And to add: I like it, fits the very appropriate TaleWorld's style.

I didn't say i don't like it.
I love every bannerlord armor they showed.
It just looked a bit strange, it looked like a russian kuyak with smaller, clustered plates.

I've found that most armors look a bit strange if we compare them to real ones, it has always been the Mount & Blade theme and I think that is what's a part of their success. To separate the game from reality helps suspension of disbelief and allows for greater immersion. I don't think they could have done an imaginary map and then included realistic looking armor, or vice versa, it would have been far stranger and odd.

When everything is new with a touch of artistic imagination and merely based on real items/maps et cetera it creates a whole new realm and truly brings the player in.

I don't have any university degree, so I don't really know what I'm talking about. Unless 1000+ hours of Mount & Bladeing has made me a tenth of an expert or something.

Some new info about Bannerlord's mechanics:
https://www.reddit.com/r/mountandblade/comments/57fcgb/last_night_communityguy_frank_did_a_quick/

"Last night, communityguy frank did a quick surprise Bannerlord q&a in 4chan's /mbg/. Here's a summary for those interested"

"...frank did a quick surprise Bannerlord q&a in 4chan's..."

"... a quick surprise Bannerlord q&a ..."

"... surprise ..."

Well there you go guys, I think that was it.
