Governments tend to get involved in technological industries. We're the biggest serious operational game developer in the country and we work in a "teknokent" which is a sort of government sponsored science park, of which there are a number throughout Ankara and (I think) the country. It's only natural they want some sort of report on what we're up to.

Having said that, the video wasn't taken from a government presentation. It's just some sort of function in the local university. Armağan was invited to give a presentation... they're always after a piece of him .
Now that's really inspiring and showing taleworld's power and talent.

Armagan has Erdogan in his pocket. The Prime Minister defers to his liege, Armagan "King Harlaus" Yavuz.

Just stopping by to say I am looking forward to Bannerlord more than any game in my 26 years of living.  One of the reasons why the Mount and Blade series is my favorite gaming series in the world, is due to it being wonderfully SINGLE PLAYER focused.  I hope it remains first and foremost a SINGLE PLAYER game. Multiplayer is awesome but must not harm the singleplayer expierence in any way.  MODS are also the other massive factor of what make this series the best.

I am tired of the multiplayer obsessed direction the gaming industry is in.  It comes at the cost of not putting any effort in to good AI.

Remember this:  Multiplayer games have fickle communities and eventually wither and die.  Good Singleplayer games on the other hand, last forever.

To say that Warband multiplayer comunity is "fickle", is too far fetched. They have a very strong core of dedicated players. (And I am a singleplayer guy only.)
But they are the loudest group for sure (by default), so I know what you mean.

I've often believed that the single-player community represented on TaleWorlds is just the tip of the iceberg of actual offline players. Whilst the same can be said for multiplayer, I'm going to bet my hairy legs (and Ragnor's!) that it just isn't as large an iceberg.

Some of the best modules produced for Mount & Blade (as well as some of the most innovative) have remained in the domain of single-player. It would do Bannerlord credit to approach the online/offline duality in the same manner as before.

Well, there's no way of knowing that.

Those who play multiplayer are much less likely to play mods, because you can only play with people who use the same module as you. This rules out stacking small mods completely and makes full conversions relatively unpopular, because they're seen as divisive.

Native is more important to multiplayer than it is to singleplayer.
