They dont have to release anything, you havnt paid for the game.

Actually, if you're Turkish your tax money is paying for the game. Can't use that one anymore.

Does that mean that you have the right to view plans of the companies doing the roads?

They do if they want to keep making a living by making games. I guess they could get jobs at their local Kebab shop instead.

Implying that no one/fewer will buy the game if they dont release info.

They won't be at PCW according to Frank.

of course not. Let me guess: Nothin to show?
Nothin ready in this dam MONTHS and MONTHS of further "developement"?

They weren't getting ready for this event, that's why. To have something to show at an event, you have to schedule your work accordingly and sacrifice overall progress to get a polished, fully working version of the game to show. That's what they did last year for 3 events, so they've given the game lots of public exposure last year. This year the priority is getting the game ready for external testing i.e. early access. They obviously didn't see a need to prepare something especially for PCW. You should be glad that they are working on getting the game ready for you to play.

I hope that encounters with smaller force like 10 people or under doesn't start from the edge of the map. It's funny that a bandit group try to rob you from 1 km away , I could just run away.

Maybe when they approach you, the game loads the battle scene. After that, you and the bandit group have a small "chat", if it turns sour the conversation stop and force you to fight (like the bandit group in city). Else, it goes back to world map

I like that idea.

I like it too.

I remember in Brytenwalda catching an enemy lord travelling all alone, screen came up saying "you have been ambushed", I loled. As soon as I spawned in he popped out from behind a tree and nailed me in the back of the head with a javelin. I stopped laughing.

Not having time to organise your troops and prepare before the enemies arrive can really throw you. Maybe when you're ambushed the mini-map could also be disabled for a short time or something along those lines, to represent further confusion. Reduce the time by your tactics skill.

and what do you think?: have surgery and Moral work differently for your own skills there should be an extra skill that you can choose and it works with surgery and morale (morale making your men fight better) this skill is radius in meters, so when you are in a fight the npcs on your team that fall with in that radius of your presence will boost there surgery and moral making the fight directly around you go better and the npcs  farther away not so good so that you have to fight in the area where your presence will do the most good  it will give presence of you or lords even companions have an important effect like it would do in real live.

You are right. I am kinda sick of government's touch on Taleworlds. We can decide to give or not to give our own money after we see the product anyway. With these kind of government helps, companies become lazy.

suggestions (open spoiler)

I hope they make it so that when you make a character and choose at which faction to spawn you can choose to be from the faction and not just a traveler from a far land its a small thing but it would be nice to feel that you grew up in the area.

Now this is beautiful... Actual positive constructive posts and suggestions..

Imagine if this thread was mainly filled with those instead of what it looks like right now, how much the game would be influenced in an amazing way.

Remember Lust's words  (not trying to make him the center of attention, but he is indeed our link with the company and the person who hops into this thread regularly) as Do not look here kindly brought back to our minds:

My role in all this is not to twiddle my thumbs and ignore the community but to help organise and find solutions, as well as arrange what we release and of course, write them! (that bit's easy though )

I do all sorts of things in the company and right now [...] I also get involved in development in various ways, where I represent the voice of the community and offer my own ideas.

To make any kind of meaningful suggestion you have to know what the current state of the game is, otherwise you're just trying a shot in the dark. It's a waste of time really because you have no idea if your idea is already implemented in the game or if the devs want to pursue a different approach.

Dont know if i have suggested it already but would be grait to buy a house in one of the main city's could be money related or influence with the faction or the lord of that city(should not be limited to lords only its more for the players early on before you have a castle and for those who play as traders and mercenary's) and then be able to buy furniture for it , there is a good barter system and i think you should get gifts from lords if you help a lot or get one out of a tight spot like a tapestry or bear pelt something like that then you could go to your home and see that gift some where inside if you get close to it like getting close to a soldier in warband it will show on screen who gave it to you and for what, it be a nice touch.

I don't think our suggestions in here could influence the game much. They've spent who knows how many hours brainstorming ideas for Bannerlord, so they've likely discussed much of what we could come up with already. If the are close to release, then our ideas would have no effect at all since the features have all already been created. We can still make comments like this, no reason not to, but the chances any of it will change the game at all are unlikely. This thread is for us to discuss the game, not give advice to the dev team. They know what they're doing.

Edit: Just noticed Salmonsy's post. This is kind of a repeat of his.

I dunno.. I've seen forums where people were only allowed to say nice things. Personally I think it's like taking a stroll through a lunatic asylum. Suggesting new features for the game is NOT constructive at this late stage. Feature creep is the last thing Armagan Yavuz needs right now. He needs to have faith in the work he and his team have already done.

Because like it or not, "vapourware" is a term that pops up now when a game takes a lot longer than expected. It's par for the course. Add to that an unexpected silence in terms of official announcements and ofcourse you have a thread full of conspiracy theories. We are human. We are not Taleworlds fanbots. (as much as I love M&B).

Yeah, the Turkish government is too poor to keep all those refugees alive, but its got plenty of cash to make video games. This culture is everywhere though and more so in other countries. Rich people entertainment is so much more valued than saving the lives of poor people.

Investing into local industries is not just frivolous spending, it's a good way to improve the country's economy which I think is a laudable goal. Also, why are you roaming these forums if it's "rich people entertainment"?

Let's name things with their real names - they are not "refugees", at least not most of them. They are illegal immigrants.
