So, according to Captain Lust,  they HOPE to deliver a Beta or something like that this year.
That means to me that there will not be Game release in 2017 at all.
2018 in the best of the cases.

They must put down the stupid Steam page and Forum until something playable is delivered.  That is a Trollfest,  filed with fake infos and lots of raging crybabys.  And all for nothing, because game is stil VERY FAR in the horizont.

Sorry english xd

What?

The sole purpose of this forum isn't to bring news about Bannerlord. Browse the forum and you'll see it's being used daily for many purposes by countless users. Would be absolutely stupid to take down the forum. Either way, if you don't like the Steam and forums being up, just don't visit them. Simple as that.

It doesn't mean that at all. He didn't say not 2017, he just doesn't want to make any promises.

I see more people going crazy because they think Denuvo will ruin the modding in Bannerlord

*sigh*

Modding? It's not about modding at all!

Why Denuvo Is ANTI-Consumer?

https://whyisdenuvobad.github.io/

Any DRM is anti-consumer. The ones who support this anti-consumer software clearly don't mind having their rights violated and receiving a potentially not working product.

CD Project got it right. You attract buyers by creating interesting content, story, proper DLCs etc. not by using anti-consumer DRM.

I hope that this abomination from the infamous devs of the infamous Securom will be utterly destroyed in the nearest future. And it seems this future is pretty close as it is getting rekt more and more recently.
if they didn't implement it, then who cares.

I care. Intentions matter.

I've supported Tales for quite some time buying their games.  I don't think I'll be doing this anymore

I hope the Denuvo rumours are unfounded, or that TW inquired about it as a part of a standard business procedure and that they did not really want it as a first, second or third choice.
Witcher 3 has shown that good games don't need DRM to sell like hotcakes, the fact that TW (allegedly) pondered the possibility of adding Denuvo would erode my confidence in the game.

Edit: What, is it true that Denuvo does not support Linux? That would be a low blow.

So you are saying that their game is empty? And they are trying to get players with DRM? If their game is good and they use DRM then why do you care?

If what he provided in the link is true, then the biggest problem is that it throws quite a bit of hurdles onto the legitimate customers in exchange for more profits for the company.

He said the same in 2016, that's why we can think that nothing in 2017... :dead: We will get one blog in 2017 ans that's all.
Its their decision really. I would have a problem with that answer, if I preordered something.

Can you guys ****ing wait before doom and gloom anything? The same **** in every forum nowdays. The for honor forums are literally spammed with 'we want dedicated servers' crap all day even though their P2P system is not the traditional garbage and I never had any problems during closed beta. Just an example, wait before talking **** please. Denuvo could mean many things for Bannerlord when it comes to what they choose to lock or not. Just wait.

Well I am not specifically talking about Denuvo.

I don't know why people are against Denuvo this much. Unless you plan to pirate the game, then I don't see why you care. I've seen messages from people claiming that they won't even buy the game if Denuvo has been implemented, which is just straight up retarded, to be frank.

People like to freak out about everything.

There must be some reason why some big gaming companies are removed the Denuvo in their games. (I don't know the reasons tho) VAC at least is good one, I think. Not impossible to crack maybe, but all games eventually gets cracked. Sooner or later. For me it would be nice that the game will be completely unbreakable. But I hope it does not add loading times for the game, or take too much hard drive or shortens the lifetime of my SSD.

Modding will take a big hit if there's Denuvo in M&B2. IIRC, games with Denuvo can't be modded.

They can be actually. But there is no confirmation that they will use it. So there is no need to go ape**** on them. They were probably just checking the market for DRM solutions and see what would work for them and stuff..
