I started playing warband again recently and I must say ,bannerlords is seriously not warband ,I retract all my criticism on the E3 videos . Wow  the game has changed totally , I played a warband siege , whiles watching the E3 siege and in fact I was pleased with taleworld's work so far. However I realized something in warband that might still be the same in  bannerlords, "Kings" they are just lords with a glorified title , bannerlords should really go into details and increase the level of effects kings have in their factions and the game as a whole . Capturing kings shouldn't also be a child play , kings should have strong armies and well garrisoned parties , disobeying a king's order should have consequences, paying taxes to the king must be mandatory ,having good relations with him should bring you benefit like tax reduction , more lands ,and other perks . Kings should also have their own military campaigns ,separate from the marshal's own and everyone would be forced to join . This is a must there should be a mini general map of calradia where , you can see trade routes ,faction boundaries, manage lords, give strategic orders to your lords during a war , this would really send the gameplay to the next level.

Also, they mentioned in blog 13 that a lord needs to maintain his influence in his faction. What happens if a faction leader loses to much influence through defeats or settlements taken from him? Is he going to be ousted by another more influential lord?

Side note:

Can we get rid of the 'features' section under Bannerlord's main page? That thing has said 'content coming soon' for like a decade already. It has disappointed me so many times, I don't think my heart can bear another.

That is all.

I seriously want to own a fleet in Bannerlord and attack cities from the coast. Even owning a merchant ship and traveling the coastal trade route could be interesting if there are pirates and Nord raiders to deal with. Ships is how large amounts of goods were moved and it would be neat to see TW tap into that. I always wanted to create a rich merchant that eventually acquires several trade ships and has tones of coin stored in a merchant bank.

I have confidence that we will be able to choose ship production as an industry for villages in Bannerlord.

I'll be surprised if you can be eager for about 2-3 years from now on.

He only needs to be eager for about a year at most. In fact, I bet my ass that we'll be able to play Bannerlord in less than a year.

I doubt that it'll be released this year. It'll probably be finished around spring next year or probably longer. But Taleworlds should really take their time to finish it until it's really polished and actually playable (I'm talking to you, EA). The popularity of Warband isn't really declining very much as interest in multiplayer is still pretty much as good as it comes and the modding community is still doing well. Obviously I would rather play a finished Bannerlord game in May 2017 than play a problematic bug-ridden one in say, January the same year or something like that.

Uhh multiplayer is dying out. The only players we have left are the hardcore PW players and then some others spread between FI2, NW and Native... NW doesnt have many people playing unless there is an event and even those are half the size they used to be. Thats just in the past 2-3 months.

I might be wrong then. I'm not actively playing Warband anymore (for quite some time, actually) but last time I checked servers were doing pretty well and most seemed to be alright, but that was like 5 months ago or something, so things might've changed a little, idk.
