Lucky for us lower rank members, we don't have to worry about making excuses to preserve our reputation, yet.

EDIT: Anyways, so if that leak did happen according to their Twitter, then how soon is "soon"?

It has already been posted. Has to do with pc gamer convention around March i think.

There was no leak, they're talking about the PC gamer stuff.

My guess is the next devblog wil be around Christmas time.
It could be a juicy one though with a video since it will be, well, Christmas.

Taleworlds, make Santa proud please when the time comes!

Waste of development, co-op games are boring in the long term and I'd rather have Taleworlds use resources on the glorious multiplayer so I can chop my friends' heads off.

To be fair, I think death match is the single most boring game mode I've ever come across in any game. It's boring and repetitive, and I still don't get why people like it. I also dislike laser tag. Boo!

I dissagree. I'm not sure how much resources it costs, but I know allot of people have been requesting something like this. True, the idea is simple but the implementation not  quite , so in the end it may be a waste. But if you never try you'll never know.

For example, if 1 person would lead the elite troops, or the calvary, or both a mix of, you can do tactic stuff. Ofcourse after a while a computer controlled enemy might be getting dull.

But don't forget, in Napoleon wars multiplayer, you could do something similair like this, where you would lead either calvary, inf or artillery. It was not a very big battle nor did you had diverse troops, but it was quite popular and fun to play.

I think besides for the coding being perhaps difficult, implementing it would be as simple as making a few choices: Should the guest in the host's game be a part of the host's party or should he be in charge of his own party, or both, and how the time system should be changed. The simplest route would be to keep the time system and have the guest be a member of host's party so that the host controls the party and the pauses and speed-ups don't interfere, but having separate parties could lead to some really amazing battles with or against each other, perhaps even with each player having their own kingdom to rule.

Deathmatch is not the only game type in this game. And if it would, it would be better than co-op because you actually fight real people and not bots. It makes you set a goal to be better and it will most likely be the hardest to achieve than any kind of leveling up in single player. People got different opinions of course. I think a single player mode is good for those who dont like Multiplayer. For those who actually do, there' s playing online. Both parties are happy. I do believe that if they ever decide to put it, it would be at the cost a multiplayer portion of the game. I don't think single/co-op/multiplayer game can be strong at a point since co-op needs rewriting in mechanics and gameplay since everything must have consequenses for 2 players to be fair. . I think we're in a good place with Warband's modes, but multiplayer needs extension in features and content.

B-b-but I don't want to get better or set goals. I want to escape

Fair enough, though. I'm happy as long as the single player is good. It's just a shame that I happen to prefer the less preferred online mode. Well, life goes on.

That sounds quite promising to me actually- they are mentioning Bannerlord info in a news piece about price reductions for existing titles, not something they usually do. Mind you, it could be a couple of months away for all we know.

The good news is, they are still working on it!

There was never any question that they were working on it, how could they feasibly not be?

They could just be eating butter all this time

Do not look here 说:
Maybe that soon isn't happy-news-soon, but grim, terrifying prophecy of butter supplies soon running out?

This is what I was referring to, you never know how long the butter supplies last at the Taleworlds office.

WHERE do I pay to play whats been done to the game already

You dont, for Taleworlds has the income they need, from people still buy their games, they have no need for you, nor want you. They take their time and once ready and about to release the game...

Jesus shall return and none shall touch Bannerlord  :iamamoron:
