What this game needs...
1. BIGGER BATTLES- that is, 1,000 man battles. I know it's possible- with mods you can do it on the Warband engine...
This is a bit too big, like just imagine the waiting times ugh, id be find with 150v150 (so 300), it's already the double amount of warband
Count Raviolli 说:
2. More optimization, to make # 1 possible.
We should get this with the new engine they are making
Count Raviolli 说:
3. Better Sieges: Siege Engines, the building of more towers etc.
This is already WIP as you can tell by this blog post....
Count Raviolli 说:
4. Better construction- custom build your fortifications as well as fortify your camp etc.
I approve of this
Count Raviolli 说:
5. Sub- vassals and vassals of vassals (Dukes, Counts, Barons, etc.).
Not too sure about this, could be to complex with too many tiers
Count Raviolli 说:
6. More and better diplomacy.
If they are just implementing the Diplomacy mod features that should be enough but more is always nice
Count Raviolli 说:
7. More orders for fine-tuning battles (depth of ranks, wheel right/left etc. to allow "square of doom" mode").
I would also like to see this
Count Raviolli 说:
8. Battle Formations (Schiltrom, shield wall, shield castle, Testudo (if your going Roman) etc.
This kind of goes together with the previous one
Count Raviolli 说:
9. Bigger and better cities with more businesses (not just the generic merchants found in Warband).
I'd like this too, to a certain extent
Count Raviolli 说:
10. SEA BATTLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wouldn't that be awesome? Think about it- it's like a land battle, but on water, with rams, siege engines mounted on the prow of ships etc...
Sea battles with basically 2 ship with planks so you can board each others (similar to AD1257), sure, otherwise no
Count Raviolli 说:
11. Deplyable defenses (caltrops etc.)- also includes ability to use smaller siege engines in battles (Scorpions, etc.).
To a certain extent, yes it would be nice
Count Raviolli 说:
12. More blood and gore (yup- I am a sadistic freak).
No real need for this I think
Count Raviolli 说:
13. Wounded men actually appear wounded and crawl about moaning for mercy..
.
No thanks, you wouldn't normally do this in a battle, you are too busy avoiding getting killed
Count Raviolli 说:
14. More nefarious things to do to innocent civilians (conscription's, extortion, massacres etc.)
I'd like to see this, as long as it has the proper repercussions on the player
Count Raviolli 说:
15 more options after taking a city (raise/execute 3/4 of pops, sack, occupy peacefully etc.)
Yes please
Count Raviolli 说:
16. Larger battlefields (mainly to accommodate more troops).
This goes together with number 1
Count Raviolli 说:
17. MORE DIPLOMACY AND MORE INTRIGUE!!!!!! See CK2 as a reference on anything involving these two...
Diplomacy already mentioned....
Count Raviolli 说:
18. Beasts of War- wardogs, elephants (PLEASE?), etc.
I think this is unnecessary
Count Raviolli 说:
19. Also: I forgot this one- CO-OP CAMPAIGN!
I am of two minds on this. It would be nice but completing a campaign can take hundreds of hours, you'd never finish one...
Count Raviolli 说:
20. extra moves you can learn from trainers and abilities to make combat more interesting (ie. you learn the epic flying roundhouse in plate armor kick as seen in Destroyer's video and map i o a key, enabling you to do awesome things with it in battles.
There is literally no point in this. Come at me with your roundhouse kick in full armor, I'll chop of your legs with my blade or pierce your stupid head with an arrow first
Count Raviolli 说:
21. Crime and Punishment- the petty slaying of civilians and stealing of things when you visit towns or villages allows you to get captured and arrested by guards unless you can fight your way out.
Yes.
Count Raviolli 说:
22. More "popular government." Public order, angry mobs, and "issues" concerning the people- allowing you to both be the victim of and capitalize on these feelings to take a city from the inside out.
Yes.
Count Raviolli 说:
23. Ability to go inside castles and wander around, especially in battles (hunt down the enemy Lord in his own hallways...)
Not to sure about this...
