Mount&Blade II: Bannerlord Developer Blog 3 - Unexpected Parties

some suggestions after a long experience with three mods of M&B warband ( 1257 AD, 1200, Britenwalda ) that really introduced some interesting features  :
1) many possible activities that can earn you money for every part of the game :
    a) early game : haunting wild animals, breading animals like sheep, cows, horses.
    b) mid game : caravan master character with extra inventory for every horse wagon or weight bearing animal (mules horses        camels )
    c) late game: options to increase prosperity of a fief so that you can pay the upkeep of a decent army without having to do the trader or other "not noble professions" any more . In great battles in late game you should get some really worthy loote to compensate your loses and make it worthy fighting big armies of enemy lords rather than bandits. Extra renown and ex. points related on how famous your beaten enemy is ( if you defeat a king you should get more famous).
2) Upgradable horses with the possibility to armour their protection or put it of some times
3) the possibility to upgrade your weapons in a smith master shop. Possibly customising them to your needs or style of fighting

I like the game, but I am absolutely sure that there are many ways to spend a quarter year better than on playing Warband.  :wink:

I do have more than 2000 hours between  both native and mods, with a good part of even more hours played with cheat menu on, because testing the final version of 1257AD. Anyway, even if not, I can steel have an opinion and express it, I think....

Hey, I'm late to the party!

Yall mentioned scouting.  I hope so too.  Also, I hate not being able to catch small groups when I'm leading 100+ soldiers.  It would be nice to detach my cavalry temporarily and quickly catch bandits and caravans.

I really hope units can be organized in formations before a battle starts, unless your group is ambushed.  They mentioned some mod ideas would be utilized.  That would be an obvious choice to me.

With larger battles and larger maps, we need a stamina system.  Horses do get tired, ya know.  No fair if they can charge and flank great distances at full gallop while heavily armored and carrying an armored rider.
 
I'm not sure what's unfair about it, since it's the same for everyone.

Left hand/right hand profficiency and equipping would be an especially sensible addition if duel wielding were implemented.

Stahp, plz. WHY on earth would you need to use the left hand and why on earth would you want to dual wield?

Lets be honest, most of us don't want dual wielding and the time spent adding such a stupid and unnecessary feature could be spent improving already existing features

I want you to make sure there will be no Auto-block hack in MP , because this hack spoils duels .

It's part of some complicated and incomprehensible secret plan to bring about universal appreciation for the great but locally elusive triceratops, thereby attracting all of the universe's resources to the singular goal of repopulating every piece of space and non-triceratops junk with triceratops. Edit: Oops something else...

I think it would be fun.

It's one of the most requested features. If the time could be better spent doing something else, maybe it stands to reason to take twice as long to release. :razz:

Good ! I meant also upgradable with ex. points gained in battle . I don't know if it is resource consuming or anything but it should be cool to have a horse whose stats grow with fighting...
 
Technically, wouldn't a horses stats decrease with fighting as wounds, battle stress and age takes a toll on him
