**** Deliverance, I'm having an unnatural itch to want to play "For Honour". I mean, calling orbital airstri... er, arrow hails... the idea draws me in, more and more every time I think about it. The next thing I know will probably be me advocating their "setting" for how "awesome" it is.

I've been putting too much time in "Dirty Bomb" recently...

... Can we have orbital airstrikes in Bannerlord please?
 
Gamescon? Oh, that's for stuff like CoD. You know, rehashed games that con you out of your money.

What's more, today there has been a press release confirming they will show live gameplay from a current version of Bannerlord: http://www.develop-online.net/press-releases/taleworlds-entertainment-to-lift-the-curtain-on-mount-blade-ii-at-gamescom/0209319

This seems to be a legitimate site rather than a mocked up page; I navigated away from the page by clicking the News tab at the top, then on a sub-tab titled press releases and the article was there in the list of various game press releases made today. I didn't find this site myself, a guy called Alden made a thread in the Warband General Discussion board: http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,336458.0.html, so credit goes to him for bringing it to our attention  :grin:

Another interesting fact you will notice in the press release; ''TaleWorlds is also proud to announce the arrival of Mount & Blade: Warband to the current generation of game consoles''
 
I may have unwittingly passed on false news with that gamescom story; major sites like IGN and GameSpot aren't carrying any Taleworlds news, just a lot of minor sites that may well be copying it without verifying the source. I hope it isn't the case, but it looks like it was probably just a website making up a believable story of what Taleworlds might show at Gamescom.
 
The press release is legit and I think everything in it is pretty much self-explanatory :wink:

Some of TaleWorlds people will be at Gamescom, holding private gameplay sessions and video screenings for the press, all the information will be shared with the players after the expo à la any other entertainment fair :smile:

The reason not all the press is featuring this bit of news is I think because a studio simply attending is not really big news.


But by all means expect to see some REAL news about Bannerlord during and after the show.
