Can't say I'm a huge fan of the bartering UI, way too much wasted space. Why not use grid of items with tooltips instead? Worked perfectly in every RPG ever made.
Except those for consoles. Tooltips are kind of strange when you've not got a mouse...
*cough*

While I will probably really love Bannerlord, buy it asap, and try to get as many people to pick it up as possible....I feel like it was announced way too early. We get updates not weekly, not monthly, but every couple of months. Instead of building my hype for the game I feel like its dwindled. My brother and I played the multiplayer together and have both put over 600+ hours into the game, a lot of that being single player. At first we were really hype for Bannerlord, but now I see these updates and can't seem to find my enthusiasm. It'd be nice if we just had a target of what year yall plan on releasing.

Also the vikings expansion for warband kinda hurt our enthusiasm as well. Pretty much a waste of money as the free mods are by far better.

You didn't play enough of it, VC is amazing ! And future updates are coming.

When the IA are bartering between them is it exactly like with the player or is it easier for her ? (I'm mean they come to agreement way more easily for the same trade)

You are right. We'll try to release blogs much more often from now on.
Please do! Between 21sts of the months  Even with this 10th blog being about bartering this revives interest! Last but certainly not least thank you Armagan for posting on this dev blog. This is great for communication for the community.

Beat me to it! Good one

just hoping the next blog is about the world map but i can imagine why they might save that for near the end of development

Indeed, im also curious to see changes, or what I hope are changes

This is simply brilliant, albeit a tad "simple" for the complexity of game, but may just work wonders! (Simplicity is NOT a bad thing).

And I have to tell you, Devs, I love your honesty in admitting a possible flaw with your system, even if it is most likely a non-issue. This honesty keeps you humble, and by the heavens, most serious gamers can't take another arrogant developer/publisher with astonishingly dumb flaws flauting their game to be the best ever(evaaar!) (most contemporary AAA titles, if you can't think of one).

This system opens up a lot of possibilities for gameplay.

LESS GRINDING, MORE RAIDING!

EDIT: I do hope to see a dev blog on combat and animations soon. I Love variety in animations and combat, although we can mod that in later... Although I am much more interested in the graphical side of things than the combat system per se, as you have already mentioned that things are liable to change. So more on animations and facial expressions...

Small request: camera angles. Add the option to select the camera angle (and FOV) and a single option to turn off the HUD, that would be awesome for making videos and what-not! (AND DO NOT REMOVE THE SLOW MOTION CHEAT!)

is it just me or is anyone else getting a bit frustrated that we wait months to get a update and its kinda meh.

There is no external anymore, they are publishing Bannerlord themselves

@ Attak; don't worry, the blog says this is just for bartering with NPCs, exchanging items and so forth, not buying things from the various shops in a city.

if the game is coming for consoles there are microsoft/sony

True, I hadn't considered that Taleworlds might be asked to keep it under wraps.

No, apparently there are many people like that. I don't get them. I mean, this update implies a lot, between the info that AI will also be using the possibility of barter and mentioned previously in-faction politics and feuds, I'm getting a feeling that even during peacetime being a vassal or sovereign will bring more options than "Welp, time to garrison my army and trade/kill the bandits till next war".

Maybe they could have a thing like Rome 2/Attila where you have a political problem and there are certain consequences depending on what option you choose.

There actually is a rather rudimentary system which determine factions to take revenge if any other kingdom occupies their original territories. For example, Swadia and the Rdokods are at war. Swadia manages to capture Grunwalder Castle and then both factions agree to a truce. After the truce expires, the Rhodoks are likely to launch another war for the sole purpose of recapturing Grunwalder Castle. Sometimes you can ask lords about the state of war, which would result in them telling you: (e.g.) King Graveth is eager to recapture the lost territories.

Of course, this can be expanded to a much larger extent. I hope they improved the mechanics on this domain.

EVery end of month one group of developers should show us piece of their wooork

Well, in the past 16 months there were 10 blogs released, so a blog every 1.6 month. I guess one blog each month would be reasonable.
