The app store has some pretty good games, but all of them lack one thing: replayability. And besides, who wouldn't go for some action on the go? Just water down the graphics and max battle size, and you're good to go. Controls would be quite obvious, drag the direction of your blow, hold down a button for ranged attacks. I imagine the movement controls would be quite similar to Payback, where you tilt to turn and press a button to either go forward or back.

You got my money.

First major problems:

CONTROLS - how are we going to work around the lack of buttons on the iphone?
COMPLEXITY - i don't know how much space the phone has but I don't think it can support such a complex game. most of the games I see are 80's throwbacks.
MANPOWER - taleworlds will need to hire more people so the game can be successfully ported over. Who pays?
AUDIENCE - There is hardly any for the iphone, and for the ipod, many people I know still has older versions, a lot more people have consoles or PC's. I would want the PC game to be absolutly perfect rather than having a half baked game on many consoles.

This is just too much of a difficult task.

what do you think? that you can get the game on the appstore completely free? no way!
and i think that not enough people would buy it sooo... bad idea

m & b isnt as complex as you think. in fact, its only 500 megs. its not as hard as you think to port the game to te iphone. as i said you would water it down a bit. obviously u have never used an iphone before. once
you have played a decent 3d game such as black shades or payback, you will find that controls are not something to worry about. put it up there for 5 bucks, and the money would roll in, to pay for whatever time it took to port it. i dont think u had the attention span to read my wjole post btw :P

Just stfu and gtfo. Please.

ROM usage will not be a problem with the current generation of apple products, i am more concerned about the RAM usage. I feel that M&B on those platforms will be LAG city.

M&B is centralized around computer controls. You'd have to start almost from scratch to port it to an iphone.

sounds plausible :D
i think you'd have to make the people to look like two stacked boxes, turn the grass and maybe even the trees out and make the wall textures
in one color to make it run lag-free

Personally, I think this proposal is quite ridiculous. I won't elaborate much, others have already mentioned all the problems. Controls, audience (who on earth plays a rpg on their phone seriously?) a myriad of problems in my humble opinion. MOB is a serious game, and serious games belong on the pc, not on a small screen with a couple controls.
